I'm actually going to be looking forward to the pseudo-sequel, when probable-Kaleidoscope shenanigans sends Shiro and Louise careening through time and space. Author mentioned Fairy Tail as one stop.

I'm just waiting to see if they land in ZnT canon.

canon!Louise: "WHY DID YOU GET AN AMAZING FAMILIAR, WHILE ALL I HAVE IS THIS DOG!?"
Saito: "U-um..."
Hills!Louise and Shiro: "The term is Servant."

There's a sequel planned? Then never mind. Guess it makes sense to break it up given how long it's become.

I don't actually pay attention to his author's notes, but only give them a glance every now and then, to see what blades make a cameo this time. So, I may need to look back two-four chapters to be sure. You probably should too, to be sure. But I am sure there will be a sequel.

The remaining chapter is suppossed to be the definative end of HoS, but GB is considering writing up a collection of sceans from Hill that took place during the story as well as adventures that happened before The End in Ch 23, which may happen many years from Ch 22, where I'm assuming that Shirou finds his Hill of Swords. GB wrote that if he does write them up he has some ideas for Shirou and Louise to go world hopping and Fairy Tale would likely be one of the destinations.

Final Chapter of HoS <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6154638/23/The_Hill_of_Swords' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>is go</a>.

I have to admit that the final chapter was a bit of a whiplash for me after everything that happened last chapter. Except that the little section that I'd started to call 'Louise's blurb' kind of foreshadowed this.

And, I'm not embarrassed to say, I actually nearly cried that Shirou died, both in happiness, as well as sadness. I'm happy that Shirou can now finally be reunited with Arturia, but sad that he had to leave all the friends he's made behind.

Okay, mini game~ I put my bet in as Henrieta being the lucky woman. Put in your guesses.

He's stated that he isn't planning on revealing, or rather making a canon judgement on the manner even thoug he has a favorite. That being said...

Tabitha

Well, he did say it was left open for interpretation. I'm just going to have fun with it.

Based on everything we see in the story, it's most likely Henrietta

I also say Henrietta. Although Tabitha is close second.

And from what I read, Louise got herself a nickname, "Duchess of Emptyness", and she finally succumb to the Threesome path, although 2 males and herself. Gangbang FTW!!!!! :cumdrool: :cumdrool:

And .... looks like she also goes planejumping on her own. It was alluded at the story that Louise is Blue, so .....

For me the three most likely are Tabitha and Henrietta tying with Agnus.

I don't think so. It was mentioned in the A/N that the planejumping occurs between the Epilogue and the moment they rescued Tabitha.

It could also be mean that it might go through what you said. With Louise by herself.

Oh, and taking on that name doesn't necessarily mean that Louise is Miss Blue. I think she just took the name because it was the name that Shirou feared a lot, and felt it as a way to honor him. That, and/or help spread the fearful Legacy related to that name.

She took the name because she felt like it. The actual Blue is Aozaki Aoko, who has a very established past.

That doesn't mean she could become a Blue if she hopped dimensions though, as the name comes from the colour ranking handed out by the Association.

Ahh... thanks for the info. My Nasuverse-Fu is not strong.

@Jomasten, after reading the info from Amodelsino, I agree about Louise taking that name as a way to remember Shiro.

Although, I now want to read about how HoS!Louise got summoned as Familiar to .... her younger self. Will she follow the Servant - Master intro?? Will she become Gandalfr, the Shield of God, or becoming Widalfr, the God's Sword??? How will she interact with the younger set of her Battle-Comrade?? Will she take Kirche's attempt to .... bed her??? :cumdrool: :cumdrool:

Kind of sad to see it go like that. Almost figured Louise might some how accidently Summon Saber in some funny screwed up series of events........

Cue a scene of Saber and Shirou running to each other in Avalon, only for Shirou to stumble and fall as she disappears when he expected to grab her. As Saber appears in front of Louise, she stares in shock while Shirou stares at the place Saber just disappeared from. And across space and time, all living beings hear two voices scream, "DAMMIT!"

Meanwhile, Louise realizes what she's just done and smacks her head against a wall repeatedly, groaning at the realization that she just totally fucked up her Servant's long awaited happiness. Thus begins the quest to either return Saber to Avalon without making it obvious that's what she's doing (I imagine Saber would still take her duty seriously enough to act as best she could) or bring Shirou back.

...You know, actually this could really, really be a fun thing to do. Saber as a Gandalfr, her interactions with Derflinger, everyone's reactions to meeting the woman Shirou loves, Guiche's reaction to meeting the person who showed Shirou his insane training method, Shirou's increasingly wacky attempts to get out of Avalon after spending years trying to reach it, and Saber's reaction to meeting Shirou's child.

God damn, this could actually be a really awesome idea. I might recommend it to GB.

Hmm, nice idea. About Shiro's attempt to get out of avalon, Isn't the half-elf Tiffania actually a Void User too?? Why not use her to summon Shiro using a reagen of himself to summon him, so there are 2 void users who are friendly to each other whom Servants are lovers.

#23
That could work. I just thought, rather than having them think of that immediately and give Shirou his happy ending back, it just wouldn't occur to them, leading to much hijinks. And because I can't think of many particularly wacky ideas for Avalon, I imagine Shirou would think of it first, and begin screaming it to the sky in the hopes that someone hears.

Meanwhile, after a year or two of trying to find a way to reunite Saber and Shirou, Louise and Saber go visit Tiffania and the problem gets brought up. Tiffania mentions your idea, and Louise begins to beat her head against the table while Saber threatens Derflinger, who just never bothered to mention that he knew there was another Void user who they were friends with that could be used to summon Shirou.

And Shirou's first act upon being summoned (after getting "reacquainted" with Saber)? He chops that DAMN piece of wood. Whose kindling now, you bastard!?

... and, for some reason, I just had the image of canon-Louise summoning post-epilogue Hill of Swords Louise as her familiar. It might make a decent crackfic or omake, but I'm not going to write it.

@Aleh: I had the same thought. HOS!Louise gets summoned while she's traveling around. That means having her hair and face covered up.

And the first major thing that happens, besides canon!Guiche challenging H!Louise, is that Kirche accidentally finds out.

So, to keep Kirche from telling her younger more naive self, H!Louise starts making out with Kirche.

I don't know how my thoughts lead to that, but it can be assumed that I had been expecting it.
