I agree that Mayor Wilkins was the best villian, but I think Angelus makes a strong second place showing.

For favorite characters: Xander, Cordelia, Faith, Buffy (until graduation)

Wilkins was a good villain, as was Angelus (To an extent). Early on Spike was a pretty decent villain when combined with Dru.

I'd say the Master was my favorite villain, if only because season 1 was pretty much the best season, Angelus & Spike are close but they both had more screen time as heroes so eh.

By the last few seasons I pretty much despised every single main character but if I had to pick a favorite I'd probably go with Oz, he got out before everyone went to hell.


For minor characters, I really liked Jenny and Jonathon and Joyce and Andrew. If we include Angel, I like Illyria a lot.

Spike as a villain was great, partly because he was swearing his ass off with English slang and getting away with it on prime-time US TV. And he was just a sarky bastard, even when he should have known better. Great lines.

"It's a big rock. I can't wait to tell all my friends. Bet they don't have rocks this big."

Wilkins was creepy, and very well done too. The rest...meh. It doesn't help that every single character was shafted in various ways from the third season onwards, and it got worse as the seasons wore on. Season 5 was the last one I watched, and I am very, very glad that I stopped where I did.

Well...I watched Dirty Girls for the Xander scene. That was pretty nasty.

Angelus was my favorite villain. My favorite white hat is actually Giles.

To be honest I liked the two versions of Faith Good/Bad. I guess the fact that I was in love with the actress had something to do with it

Eliza's a fine looking woman - no doubt. But then, BtVS had a great choice of hawtness, from beginning to end. ^_^
