I doubt any of the stories are as good as they might have once been thought.
Shrugs, I liked 'Ranma Aijou and Aitou' the most of his myself. His Tenchi one was interesting too...

Wish he had continued them... the problem was several got handed off to other authors, but none really continued much past the point he left them.

I seem to remember that he asked the authors to remove them..

He did... eventually... but that was a good amount of time after they were to have taken them over... I think he might have done that as poeple were PM'ing him about continuing them since they had not...

Ironically, Driver Jim Ohki, whom was initially given Aijou & Aitou (I always forget the name of the other one given that story), did the same as JohnnyG quite some time later... he removed the bulk of his fanfiction and stopped writing. He was a bit of a niche writer, and had a narrow appeal, I liked a couple of his stories though and was sad to see them deleted.

I don't remember Driver Jim writing anything that came remotely close to qualifying as good.

Shrugs...

More like, kept my interest to the point I would not have minded seeing more. 'West Bound and Down' and 'What Lurks Beneath' I liked. 'The Goddess Dilemma' (both versions) also I liked, but that was very, very slapstick, and would not have appealed to all whom read it.

If we're talking about the same guy, I've read some of his stuff and looking back I'd say it's above average but marred by juvenile elements like fart jokes

Not sure if this one was only available on the Ranma and Nabiki fanfic site before it folded or not.

It was basically a one-shot. Nabiki is born telepathic, drinks a bit to handle it, and prefers her time at Grandfather Yosho's (Tenchi Cross) temple for the quiet.

When Ranma arrives, she reads their minds, is a bit inebriated, and agrees to take the engagement, because 'you're cute in either form'.

It sounds terrible. Different, but still terrible.

I've never read it and I have no idea where to find it now.

I've seen stories with Nabiki as Telepathic, and ones with her living at the Masaki Shrine in the mountains, but cannot recall both in same story.

I did frequent that site, but don't recall seeing that particular story. For the most part, that site only linked to stories elsewhere, but there were several hosted on the site, it could have been one of those.

It sounds terrible. Different, but still terrible.
FYI, not really a surprise you would say that, IIRC you never liked Tenchi stories.

It's not just the Tenchi element, which sounds completely extraneous, that I dislike. The premise itself is not attractive.

It was only the one chapter as far as I know, and it was an interesting setup in my opinion, at the time. Who knows how rereading it will change my opinion.

Uggh... This is reminding me of this one awful sue-tastic massive crossover Ranma fic I once read years ago (I might have mentioned it before?); where they reveal that Belldandy was brainwashed by The Almighty One into believing she was meant to be with Keiichi, and that her 'true soulmate' (Ugh) was actually Ranma.
I'm not sure if I should respond, since this was posted almost 2 years ago, but it sounds like "Path of Chaos" by Lord Rance, and the subsequent discussion confirms it to me. Since nobody outright said it...
As for "Long time ago", it was old enough that apparently I have two links in my bookmark file, one of which is the old URL scheme from the first five years that was replaced in 2003.

the modern one is:

Path of Chaos: Ascension of Supremacy
By: Lord Rance
A powerful entity has been reborn after so many eons being dead, but what if the entity doesn't want to go back to what he used to be? This is a story of a powerful god, who doesn't want to become a god.
Rated: Fiction T - English - Romance/Adventure - Ranma - Chapters: 23 - Words: 564,368 - Reviews: 755 - Favs: 691 - Follows: 349 - Updated: Apr 30, 2007 - Published: Feb 13, 2003 - Status: Complete - id: 1234810

it's one of those stories that was... interesting at some point, godawful in wanking (which at the time was, pretty much the standard among many fandoms, along with Crossover Harems) and has certainly not aged well.

I remember an old story where the phoenix people find out that Akane is cheating on Ranma with Ryouga so they lock them in the form of piglets and have Kiima replace her without anyone knowing. The story is from Kiima's pov who thinks about how she has come to love Ranma she still misses flying.

I know of a story regarding the 2nd part of that, but no clue about the locking of piglets part. 'Balance of the Valley' by James Thomas

That isn't it sadly in this story Kiima locks herself in Akane's form and no one realizes that it isn't really her.
