Evangelion Fiendish Eva Idea Thread

This is an attempt to keep various Eva ideas that pop into my head in one place.

First off, a comedy fic with a bit of action.


It has been suggested that Keel Lorenz (sp) knew Yui and that Gendo used their relationship to further himself and his plans.

So using the dodgy assumption/piece of fanon, what if Keel arranged for a bodyguard when a report crosses his desk detailing how Touji beat the crap out of him?

This bodyguard? Mana Tatsumiya.



Next up: a Shinji/Kodama fic.















Oh, you want details? Well, what if Kodama found out that Shinji is a pilot and basically pulled a Nabiki and tried to benefit from her position as girlfriend/agent?

Misato's not convinced, obviously this is a ploy for fame on Kodama's part.

And it is, but what really makes this good is that Misato insists on watching them show their affection for each other in a lemony scene or two.

Or something like that.

lol, for some reason, I also like Mana. She's gonna be my Keitaro's enemy/hired gun against him when I get to it.

No reason for him to interfere... unless there's a strong connection there: family, friends, debt etc.

If a pilot has a black eye wouldn't that hinder his ability to see the enemy. If Touji attacked Shinji once, what's to stop him from doing it again. Since Keel's plans are worthless if the Angels win it would be in his best interests if Shinji wasn't injured before an Angel attack.

An idea I had floated some 5-6 months ago, yet never really went through with...

What if everything in the Eva storyline ended up proceeding in a nice and happy manner, yet was still generally screwed up? IE: Nobody dying, everyone painfully happy. Overall would be a humor/parody fic, nothing more or less.

I love this idea! I don't think I've ever read a NGE fic that explores this, which is surprising when you consider that EVA pilots are probably world celebrities. And where there's celebrities, there's fangirls. Even if the identities of the pilots aren't widely known, at the very least everyone at Shinji's school seems to know he's a pilot. You'd think there'd be a mention of some girl trying to become more popular by having a pilot for a boyfriend.

And I love the possibility of a Shinji/Kodama/Misato love triangle.

I realise that it's only good for a crackfic and would not stand up to scrutiny, but what if Ritsuko Akagi was more like Gregory House?

I've been inspired by some of the entries for ELC4.

I was thinking that perhaps an AU where Gendo and Yui were divorced and, due to Yui's tragic death, Shinji has to move in with Gendo.

This Gendo will be OOC. There's no two ways about it.

I'm sorry if that's going to be a problem for people, but hey we'll all get over it.

As Shinji returns to Tokyo-3 with Gendo, he realises just how sucessful his dad is.

For example, Gendo owns the building they're living in.

I have something written down as the start for this idea, but I'm not sure where to take it.

Another idea.

What if Shinji was insanely optimistic rather than the ball of depression his in canon?

He doesn't always succeed, but hey, "it's not the end of the world."

Of course, that notion would be knocked out of him soon in this fic, but this would be a exercise in showing the mental breakdown of a relative normal person in extrordinary circumstances rather than a WAFFY piece.

The Kodama/Shinji pairing would be hilarious. You do realize the fun you could have with Toji and Kensuke trying to focus on their friend's romantic exploits, right? To top it off, you could have Misato start to get pissed that Shinji's friends aren't drooling over her anymore, and instead are spending more time with the Horakis.

As for another idea you could try, what about Rei being blackmailed into attending a birthday party for one of her classmates? She ends up pissing off more people from class, except for one classmate who stands up for her. That's right, someone needs to write a fanfic where Rei gets a friend who shows some actual interest in her well-being.

If he is thinking the same one as me, then I do not think so.

Basically, it was a retelling of the Eva series, but instead of the pilots fathers surviving, it was the mothers. I cannot remember why, but it went into very dark and perverted territory within just a few episodes. The mothers ruled Nerv and had pretty much free rein. I *know* it had something like that in the seating position for Asuka, and the plugsuits were a bit different, and something was done with the LCL to, so to speak, improve the mood. Centering on maining Yui and Asuka's mom.

I don't remember Ritsuko being there, but I could be wrong.
