Frozen/Rise of the Guardians idea

So I've bee watching a bunch of Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks movies lately, and reading some of the fanfiction.  One of the things I found was a significant amount of Jack Frost an Elsa shipping.

I actually like it, they have similar powers, and similar issues with being alone, and I think they would probably balance each other fairly well.

Sadly, it's hard to find a decent story, and a lot of them stick to the script far too much to really enjoy it, or just straight up high school/Modernize it, so I started thinking, and ended up coming up with something I think might be interesting.

Basic Idea:  When Elsa is growing up (early to mid teens I'm thinking) and her powers growing out of control, she meets Jack, who offers to talke her away from Arendelle to show her how to use her powers.  Thinking she's a danger to her family, and wanting to learn from someone who has apparently mastered the same power, she agrees, and Jack spirits her away.

The story would follow both of the sisters, Anna as she's suddenly forced to deal with being the heir apparent and all the responsibilities that come with it, and Elsa as she struggles to actually learn how t use her powers.

The First Act  for Anna is about trying to adjust to her new role, and solving the mystery of what happened to her sister.  At first, she'll probably think that it was because she couldn't handle the pressure put on her, but she'll start to wonder about why the castle is suddenly open again, now that Elsa isn't around anymore.

For Elsa and Jack, it's pretty much wandering the world, helping Elsa to learn how to use her powers.  One of the major things is getting her to adjust to actually going out and living life.  She won't have servants or any of the amenities she's used to, and dealing with daily life will probably be a bit difficult for her at first.  on the other hand, Jack's more than happy to take her to out of the way places to let her cut loose and use her power without the risk of hurting people.

Jack is pretty much just acting as a teacher in this act.  Elsa doesn't really know him that well, and the mnajority of their time is spent helping her, or building a foundation of trust and friendship between them.

Act Two is kicked off by the king and queen dying like in canon.  Anna finds out immediately, and suddenly everything she's been doing her best to handle is cranked up to eleven, compounded with the fact that now she's one of the most eligible bachelorettes around, and there are a number of suitors coming to visit.  She has other people to help her out, which keeps her from having a meltdown, but it's a difficult balancing act for her to managed

At this point, I think she would have to put aside her investigations into Elsa's disappearance.  There's not enough time to uncover anything solid, and part of her is probably starting to resent Elsa for sticking her with ruling the kingdom.

Elsa, on the other hand, has attained a degree of mastery and peace regarding her powers.  While nowhere near as skilled as Jack, she's comfortable enough with them to go into towns for errands.  I'm thinking that somewhere along the way, she started working as a storyteller, not only does this give her a source of income, but it lets her spread tales of Jack Frost, getting him some believers as thanks for helping her.   Might have a few

Jack:  Not quite sure what to do with him here, but leaning towards involving the guardians side of the crossover here a bit more.  Getting believers is a big deal for him, and it could draw some attention.  Considering having Pitch black finding out about his "herald" Elsa and considering finding one for himself.

Act Three would be Elsa returning to Arendelle, finding out about her parents, and meeting Anna for the first time in a long time.   Not exactly going to be a smooth meeting, and probably have a significant amount of drama and difficulties as they try to find a balance.  Thinking the shock of her parent's death might cause Elsa to loose control.  Not full on Ice Age, but enough to draw attention that they may not want.

Not quite sure where to go from here.  Thinking about having Pitch stir up trouble.  Instead of the nightmares, I think he might try to find a few other disenfranchised spirits and start causing trouble.  Could lead to the Guardians intervening. could be used to start a war, depending on who is seeking Anna's hand at that particular time.

Thoughts?
