So...Anyone else like the end of Futurama?

I did. I thought the ending was rather sweet. Hope there's hope for another movie, following up with the charas ten-twenty years later.

Yes it was, and I won't say it was anything but a good ending, but I...kinda expected more. I thought they might build a bit more off of last weeks episode with Zoidbergs new girlfriend and Benders new evil little sidekick.

I just watched it and it was really sweet. Liked the way they left a little sequel hook, definitely hope they show a movie that has Fry and Leelas kids.

It was a good finale. Nice way to tie things up, even if Bender knew it would happen all along from when he was super-intelligent.

The Professor invents a time-travel device that allows the one using it to go back in time 10 seconds, but it can't be used consequetivly because it takes 10 seconds to recharge.

Fry uses it to plan the perfect evening to propose to Leela, fucks it up, dies, gets saved (finally, after many tries), then breaks the device which stops time for everyone except him and Leela. They live in the frozen world, traveling, growing old together, til the Professor shows up and fixes the device, informing them that it'll take all three back in time to the point before the device was invented. Unfortunetly, this will erase their memories as well. Fry and Leela decide to go for it. Cue ending.

Like I said, a sweet ending.

Didn't Bender say that he had no memory of the future-visions he'd had while super-smart?

He wrote a lot of stuff down (Including when ceiling fans are going to fall)

I thought it was good. Very sweet and poignant, and the reset button isn't as ornerous as it might be from another show. After all, Fry and Leela are still together. They're not back to just having sexual tension like in so many other shitty romances.

And you know, a Futurama: Next Generation sounds like it could be a lot of fun. And it would fit with the parody of scifi aspect of Futurama very well.

now heres a question what if fry and leela had had kids while the universe was frozen what would have happened to them when the reset button was pushed

Well... they wouldn't exsist, if I'm getting the gist of it. Everything was reset to before the time machine's invention.

This episode will show for the first time in the UK next Sunday on Sky One. For those who haven't seen it through alternate means, this is your chance.
