In that case, I might just. Of course, I like my comics in physical form, so I assume it's not that difficult to get a copy (or expensive, rather).

Steam ending support for Windows 7 and 8 users at the end of the year.
As of January 1 2024, Steam will officially stop supporting the Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. After that date, the Steam Client will no longer run on those versions of Windows. In order to continue running Steam and any games or other products purchased through Steam, users will need to update to a more recent version of Windows.

This change is required as core features in Steam rely on an embedded version of Google Chrome, which no longer functions on older versions of Windows. In addition, future versions of Steam will require Windows feature and security updates only present in Windows 10 and above.

Beginning of the end?

E3 2023 has been canceled
According to IGN, the Entertainment Software Association has begun notifying members that while the show "remains a beloved event and brand," the plans for E3 2023 "simply did not garner the sustained interest necessary to execute it in a way that would showcase the size, strength and impact our industry."

The move comes as more major gaming players announce their own digital gatherings and following reports that titans such as Xbox, Nintendo and Sony had planned to sit out the event.

Last July, sponsors announced plans for a return to a physical event in June 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, speaking of a show that would be "recognizably epic" with publishers, developers, content creators and licensors.

But show organizer ReedPop's Kyle Marsden-Kish cited a lack of "playable demos" from interested companies, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

Sony announces a new handheld, codenamed Project Q

Not even cloud-based. Instead, it streams over WiFi from your PS5 that you are required to have to load the game onto.

somebody said "A portable device, but it requires a PS5 to download software to, and only streams locally" and his bosses thought it was a good idea

Wow, Sony is really trying to prove the nobody wants a PlayStation handheld, aren't they?

Isn't this basically the Wii U GamePad? I've never owned the system, so I'm not entirely familiar with it or its peripherals, but someone reminded me that this neither a new idea nor an entirely bad one (but not really a good one either).

That... is actually pretty accurate. At lease Sony is being upfront about the fact that this is a separate device, unlike Nintendo, which mislead people into thinking the WiiU gamepad was separate, not mentioning the fact that you needed to buy a whole new Wii system.

Capcom had a showcase on the 12th

-Pragmata, a game not mentioned since 2021, gets a new mention to say it's been delayed out of 2023 (lol)
-Ace Attorney 4, 5, 6 getting a trilogy release. This means Dual Destiny and Spirit of Justice will now be available to buy again after 3DS eShop got shut down
-Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess announced. Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC. Very little actual raw gameplay, so hard to say what genre it is, besides action/hack-and-slash
-Mega Man X DiVE getting an offline release, unironically doing more to preserve game history than 99% of gacha games do
-Some new info on already announced games (Dragon's Dogma 2, Exoprimal)

Zetas

Lurking upon the deep
So it looks like Steam changed/ updated the ui....Great thanks, i already hate it.

Nintendo Direct presentation.

-Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a new 2D platformer on the Switch.
-Super Mario RPG? Yes, please.
-3rd party games already announced by their developers, but reminders that Persona 5 Tactica and Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 are on the Switch too

Detective Pikachu 2, Dark Moon remaster, and a new Dragon Quest Monsters are all nice!

Pikmin 1 & 2 physical bundle will also be a purchase for me when it releases
