Go with the Novel in Baka-tsuki, volume one at least is up. then go with the anime up to season one and watch To Aru Kagaku no Railgun if you want, which centers around Misaka and gives even more insight into the Accelerator and SISTERs arc, I suggest reading the manga rather than the anime for this one since the manga sticks more to canon and less to the Spin-offy and Shoujo Genre, also you get to see Accelerator Rip a Sister's leg clean off, sadly, so if by the time you're done with the anime you love the sisters too much I suggest steering clear. Anyways afterwards you can go ahead and read Novels 7 through 13 in full non-stop and THEN you can start the Second season, do NOT miss the second season's animation, but read the novel first so you have the dialog clearly in your mind and the subs don't get in your way so much.
