Seeing a sort of lack of other stuff I could be doing, I wanted to get more opinions on a certain show I've grown to love.

The Venture Bros.

They're now entering season 5 and the story, to me at least, still retains good comedy value. The latest episode came on Sunday July 07 and each episode feels like things have gotten real.

...Or at least the characters are growing again.

So thoughts, discussions, impressions?

Fav characters? Dislikes?

Love the show. Love the humour. My favourite bits are when the expand on this pulpy Saturday morning cartoon world the show exists in.

So new episode: Bot seeks Bot.

Not all that funny for me. The ending was worth a chuckle. Brock why you gotta tempt the Universe like that.

But it did deal in some good backstory.

The Devil's Grip: a follow up on Bot Seeks Bot.

This episode seemed to be a moment of interactions between two people at a time. From defeat and triumph for the Monarch and Doc Venture, to friendship and heartbreak for Hatred and 23, and finally some resolution for Dean between him and Hank.

Hank: kind saw it coming but still, it goes to show how adjusted the guy is to his situation. Not exactly stable but still nice. Definitely worth the watch.

And a new special. "All This and Gargantua-2" showed yesterday. It was very funny and a good adventure story. Less of the boys growing up but for those who like the strange world the show is set it in was solid gold.

I loved the interaction between Dr. Girlfriend and 'David Bowie'.

And his comeback, when asked who he really is? Priceless.

Kind of a somber episode, with a fair bit of comedy. One of the best episodes of the show, really.

Team Venture, Assemble!

Man I just watched Hostile Makeover and it was wonderful. New York Heroes, seeing Brock back, the drama going on in the villain's side, and all the shenanigans. Guys just go watch it.

Tanks for nothing- I felt bad that the Cool Modok got killed. He was pretty cool. ANd the Morpho plot got hard with a new car and interesting developments.

It's happening One Night- Hank wins at life. And DOc's new enemies are just weird.

Wow that was good. The slow motion bullet shot was actually tense.

This season just keeps getting better and better. Really good episode.
