Stephanie Brown, the current Batgirl, has a strong and growing crush on Detective Nicholas Gage, her developing contact on the police force. The implication that he has some serious relationship baggage of his own, in addition to the clear age difference, has precluded any sort of action on her feelings, but it did lead to the following
