wait a day for Shinsen, better encode, higher quality. Karaoke and a 348MB file size.[/quote]
Gave me hope. Is the episode worth the watch and do we get MArina/Setsuna?

Yes it is worth watching and no there is no Marina/Setsuna

I think it's official at this point, there are now three things that'll survive a nuclear holocaust: cockroaches, twinkies, and Patrick Colasour. Stick him in a Leo in Wing and he'd probably earn a kill ratio on par with the Gundams. Stick him in a Windam in Destiny and he'd probably accidentially down both Destiny and Strike Freedom...

Doublelullah makes an awesome return and Lyle shows just how good a person can be with half a hand and one pistol. Part of me almost wished Saji and Graham would show up somehow and lend a hand, but I think things worked out just as well this way. Saji would rather build than fight, and Graham moved on from being the single-minded soldier he started out as.

Tell me, who else loved seeing the final fight be between Exia and 0 Gundam? Screw the fancy overpowered mid series upgrades, THIS is where things should be. Just a straight up slugfest that keeps to Gundam's roots.

You do realize this means no more 00 Gundam for the 00 Gundam Movie, and no more 0-Raiser Trans-Am moments. Because Exia destroyed 0 Gundam which had ironically Exia's Solar Furnace on it, and Exia had 0 Gundam's Solar Furnace on it.

(8:18:46 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: OH GOD
(8:18:47 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: IRONY
(8:18:52 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: SO MUCH IRONY
(8:19:07 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: the final fight between Exia and 0-Gundam
(8:19:14 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: after Setsuna destroyed the 0-gundam
(8:19:20 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: he destroyed the other true GN drive
(8:19:24 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: but the irony is that
(8:19:32 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: Exia's using the 0-Gundam's GN drive
(8:19:39 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: while 0-Gundam is using Exia's GN drive
(8:19:41 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: o_O
(8:20:18 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Nooo
(8:20:30 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Where the fuck did you get that idea?
(8:20:45 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: if you go back and watch the episode where the drives are retrofitted on the 00 gundam
(8:20:52 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: the left shoulder mount's 0-gundam's GN drive
(8:20:59 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: while the right shoulder mount's Exia's GN drive
(8:21:13 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: Ribbons cut off 00 Gundam's right arm
(8:21:18 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: stealing Exia's GN drive
(8:21:20 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Well, I'm pretty certain the 0 Gundam is using its own GN drive
(8:21:35 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: ...
(8:21:41 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: go watch the episodes again
(8:21:45 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: episode 3
(8:22:35 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Dude
(8:22:43 PM) JamesEdwards0079: He did say something about a "MATCHING"
(8:22:55 PM) JamesEdwards0079: There is no way 0 Gundam's drive would work for Exia
(8:23:15 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: you know what
(8:23:16 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: hold on
(8:23:23 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: I need to confirm this for myself
(8:23:51 PM) JamesEdwards0079: And yeah
(8:23:55 PM) JamesEdwards0079: He choped off
(8:23:56 PM) JamesEdwards0079: 00
(8:23:57 PM) JamesEdwards0079: LEFT
(8:23:58 PM) JamesEdwards0079: ARM
(8:24:02 PM) JamesEdwards0079: So yeah
(8:24:07 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Your theory is quite done
(8:26:15 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: damn
(8:26:16 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: oh well
(8:26:20 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: thought I had something.
(8:29:16 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: no
(8:29:20 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: I'm right
(8:29:30 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: 0-gundam's solar furnace is on the right arm
(8:29:38 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: Exia's solar furance is on the left arm
(8:29:43 PM) JamesEdwards0079: ..............................
(8:29:45 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: watching episode 2
(8:29:53 PM) JamesEdwards0079: You realize it means they fucked up
(8:29:57 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: yes
(8:29:59 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: yes they did
(8:30:06 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: Ribbons took off the left arm
(8:30:09 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Thank you Japan
(8:30:13 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: took off Exia's Solar Furnace
(8:30:23 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: and used it on the 0-Gundam
(8:30:30 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Which should not be compatible with 0 Gundam
(8:30:34 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: and Exia used 0-Gundam's solar Furnace
(8:30:39 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: thus irony
(8:31:00 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: yup
(8:31:02 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Actually
(8:31:04 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Why the fuck
(8:31:06 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Didn't they
(8:31:08 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: when setsuna says 0-gundam's solar furnace
(8:31:10 PM) JamesEdwards0079: Trans-Am each other?
(8:31:12 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: it shows the right GN drive
(8:31:18 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: and when he says Exia's solar furnace
(8:31:20 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: it shows the left drive
(8:35:12 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: as to why they didn't Trans-Am each other?
(8:35:18 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: I don't why Exia didn't
(8:35:28 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: the 0-gundam may not have had the Trans-Am system installed
(8:35:34 PM) ShadwsofArchonia: though the drive is capable of it
GOOD JOB SUNRISE. WAY TO FUCK UP!

I get the feeling this is one of the reasons why Jupiter's playing such a large role in the movie. They might be heading off there to build some more true GN Drives; probably need them at this point anyhow. Arios and Cherudim's drives are more than likely just fine, while Exia's current drive may be damaged from the final battle. Seraphim and 0 Gundam's are more than likely toast right now.

We might be seeing twin drives in the future for everyone in Celestial Being, though I really hope that isn't the case. That's fairly broken power levels and I'd hate to see what kind of enemies would need that. Now, if the TDS was intended to communicate with these supposed aliens...

If you watched the final scene of 00, it shows 4 green star lights around Jupiter. That's four True GN drives already at Jupiter. They're not going to Jupiter to build more true GN drives.

True GN drives take 100 years to build under the intense pressure of Jupiter's gravity field. Setsuna and Co. don't have a 100 years to wait.

Yeah, I did see that sceen as well. From what I remember of the fluff never covered in the show itself, true drives only took a decade to build. That was supposedly over a hundred years ago, and all of the data needed to build GN drives was purposely deleted afterwards.

Of course, given the tendency of this show to have retcons...

They managed to minaturize the drives from those massive torso-filling cylinders in S1 to the small cones on 00's shoulders by the start of S2, so I could see it possible for the construction of new drives to take less time than before if the tech progress continues at its shown rate.

Then again, they could have already started to build new drives. Schenburg is the type to have backup plans for backup plans, so he could have had another team working on drives intended for the TDS from the beginning. 00 was a lucky fluk, so it's possible that drives built from the ground up to be a hundred percent in sync are in the works.

Guess we'll find out for sure next year.

Remember, this is a Gundam franchise. Technology refuses to stand still; it evolves arc to arc, season to season, series to series.

There's lots of Tieria/Setsuna.
Did they Rule 63'd him? I'm seeing a lot of Rule 63 Tieria on the web. The worse part: ONE OF THEM IS DONE WELL!!!

I've lost my mind.

tieria's been 63'ed heavily since the eps he cross dresses, there was alot of lockon/tieria until anew came along then everyone switched to setsuna/tieria.

seriously though gundum 00 = broken, changing into quantum energy....

honestly i hope the movie is a good continuation as although i liked how they concluded some things alot of junk was left to open. Patrick is the man though.

Don't be an idiot that's not a fuck up, the GN drives are all practically identical and exchangable except for the purposes of the twin drive system. They all have identical functionality, I would assume the reason for no trans-am was that the drives had literally only been installed in the last 5 minutes or so which meant the GN condensors onboard hadn't been able to fill up with particles. Any gundam can use any other drive.

Yes I am well aware of this, you say it like its a bad thing. I'm not one of the people that think the 00 is an ugly suit, but Exia is one of the best giant robot designs there've been in a long time and far far better than the the 00's.

Finally saw the episode... Exia vs 0 Gundam made me nerdgasm.

All in all a pretty good finale, but waiting a whole year for the movie is painful.
Also, Setsuna/Marina is dead, it was completely vaporized a long time ago.(Read : She is his Motherfigure)

Though I might be completely biased since I'm a rabid Setsuna/Feldt fan. :huh.:

Actually, whoever this person is is apparently not very observant. Ribbons took the 0 Gundam's drive. In episode 1 we see Ian next to the 00 with only one drive in and it's in the left shoulder. Wouldn't have been a fuck up anyway if he had used Exia's drive but it's irrelevant.

As far as I know, ShadwsofArchonia is Timewave Zero's old handle.

Hmm, you are a bit like zeebee1, whom is so straightforward, it is at times hard to tell if he is been rude.

Anyways, I am not sure if it is unobservant, as you did see JamesEdwards0079 & his log of trying to figure all of that out. It seems more like they stalled due to their misconceptions of the GN drive's limitations.

Not trying to be rude.

Oh, I could guess that, I was just referring to the fact that it might appear that way since you do not mince words. In text-only conversations, brevity is not always the best path to take.
