.hack//FSN

I will say this now I suffer from a severe case of stupid fingers (D@mnit!) so this is just a story idea to throw to the winds and hope (hope being the key word) some one likes it.

Synopsis: Takes place in a fusion of the two universes but more or less the same Pluto's kiss happens and technology is a lot better. Harald was a Magus using his skills with both tech and magecraft created the game fragment based on his love's Epitaph of Twilight ect. ect. We get to the player of the PC Kite who while normal has a great deal of potential of being a Magus begins playing world...ok now I am boring myself Kite gets book of twilight of aura has weird reaction to in the real do to the magics fused into the game itself lets just say he gets it in the real world where it should no exist and it attracts some "unpleasant company" and Kite gets dragged into the Fifth Holy Grail War.

Now to go into even more detail

The Bracelet: A power bestowed to him by the Type-The World Aura. Akin to a Noble Phantasm and/or Magic it is some thing that should not exist in the real world. Itself cannot be destroyed in the real world because itself is not real not even Shiki could destroy it (he could kill Kite but not destroy the bracelet). It's power can rewrite reality to a extent and even make a servant or vampire a strong as a normal human but like the Mystic eye's of death perception it has it's cost one of which would basically be having Kite in the "The World" permanently and become tied to Type-The World, or just to be drawn into nothingness.

I was not really sure where to put this one but since it's more like .hack than Fate stay night I put it here though I still think I should put it over there two. The likes of this story coming into existence is slim to none because you have to have a good understanding of both series to even get the idea, now I am going to lie down.

Umm... In canon, Kite destroyed his bracelet just striking it with his dagger. The only way he could possibly kill Cubia. It's certainly not indestructible. If Kite's involved in the 5th war (how the heck did he manage that!?) then logging into 'The World' is both a waste of time and leaves him exceedingly vulnerable to the other masters/servants. Having a large magical potential means nothing if you're completely untrained in magecraft. Not to mention any serious training in magic takes years. Simply activating your magic circuit can be lethal.

Also, if it's the 5th war, why are you mentioning Shiki or the Dead Apostles at all? They have nothing to do with each other.

Your plot is too vague. How is Kite brought into the 5th war? As a master? Shirou summoned Saber in what basically amounted to a complete fluke and even he had some limited training in mage craft. Kite has nothing except potential. No knowledge of the war. Certainly nothing in regards to summoning a servant (Not to mention, why would he do that if he's dealing with issues in 'The World'.?) If, somehow you've managed to insert Kite into the war without breaking the suspension of disbelief, he would have to focus on either 'The World' or 'The War'. Trying to do both at once is insane and humanly impossible.

Sorry. I got a lot of problems with this idea. It needs some serious work.

I am using Shiki and Dead Apostles as examples. They have no impact on the story, Kite in the story is to be said as it was said his was a Joker something out of the loop. Kite does not use Magecraft at all that is the point he has the potential to but has no training in it or knows about it so he can't use the potential except for the bracelet which in it self is a reality warper.

Kite has no servant and is a best as strong a average teenager. How Kite gets there well...it never says where Kite lives so I just put him there so as to not move him a bit of a cop out. I do have a decent understanding on what the people in Holy grail war would do to Kite. Caster would do the same thing she did Shirou, Kitomine would have him killed, Illya would either make him her servant of kill him, Shirou would try to protect him, Shinji would try to use him, Rin might kill him, mind wipe him, or try to protect him if he is already under protection with Shirou.

So basically every one is trying to kill or use him in some way, Kite is getting the short end of the stick in this story, was a normal kid one day the next trying save his in coma and his own life the next, Kite's life sucks eggs. The point is this is not set after the games it is set in a fusion universe where Kite just started to play "The World" so Cubia has yet to been born, Skeith isn't defeated, and Yasuhiko is still comatose. I hope that explains some things to you. Now I am going to go lie down again.

Unfortunately, the only thing that was really explained was what the masters/servants would do with Kite if they ever found out about the bracelet as well as Shiki's irrelevance to the story. My other concerns for the story still stand. And you have one other problem. Kite receiving the bracelet in the real world is an isolated incident. It's something no one besides the people deeply involved with the creation of 'fragment' would have any knowledge of. None of the 5th war masters appear technologically savvy and Kite isn't dumb enough to intentionally display the bracelet in public. And even if that happened would a magus understand what actually occured?

Finally, if you want to be really technical, things not meant to exist will ultimately be crushed by the world. Not the game, but the planet itself will crush the existence of the bracelet. And thanks to Kite having no knowledge of mage craft at all, he wouldn't even notice it until it's too late. -_-

True..true you know the idea is impossible to do but d@mnit I keep trying to breath life into this thing, I don't want to but it's like the siren call of PS3 (STOP TAUNTING ME D@MNIT!). So according to you the planet would try to destory Kite...logical but that means it would have call in the Dead Apostles from Tsukuhime which means Shiki would show up and this mean the story would be a .hack, FSN, and Tsukuhime crossover. Not to mention now my story elements I had planed make more sense as I had planed Kite to spawn a Cubia in the real world not "The World" Cubia more like the Cubia from the XXXX continuity when it is a humanoid Eldritch Abomination which means the world try to get rid of him.

This is becoming a giant clusterfck! But CONSTANT VIGILANCE! Ok but because Kite warps reality on a servant he as a side effect gains a conection to the grail which has another Eldritch Abomination tied to it. To say how Kite gets into the war in the first place he is walking home from school see's something he shouldn't have seen, basically the Shirou approach and things go down hill from there. I have yet to begun to type! :rip1:
