Harry Potter Cannon 'What If's

These Chalenges involve a Cannon Harry Potter making one little mistake that leads to interesting outcomes.

A few such mistakes could be:
1) During the second year Polyjuice incident, Harry gets the hairs of a male cat mixed into his polyjuice.
1a) Ron being the only "human" still in the room leaves to spy on Draco, while Harry and Hermione start a lemon scene that screams Fury!
1b) Ron leaves to spy, Harry notices an intoxicating new smell and lemon (or skipped lemon) ensues. During their stay in the Hospital wing, Hermione discovers that she is pregnant with A) Children (as in a multiple birth), B) a litter of Cat/Human crossbreeds, or C) a mix of human and cat babies.
1c) Ron leaves, Harry and Hermione get jiggy with it, The double loss of virginity and babymaking invokes old sex magic and Hermione and Harry are permanently changed into a half-human-half-cat cross.

2) At the end of second year Harry makes the mistake of hiring Dobby as his own personal assistant. Some things that might result from this incident are: A) an earlier formation of S.P.E.W., B) Dobby discovering that Ginerva and to a lesser extent Molly have been doctoring Harry's food, C) Dobby discovers a behavior modifing spell on the Dursley's in the summer after second year.

3) After Slughorn's X-mas party, Harry decides to drown his sorrows with wacky, kinky Luna sex, lemon ensues, and Luna gets pregnant. Harry does the right thing and marries Luna which releases some hidden power...

4) Very few people really understand The-Boy-Who-Lived, and fewer people understand why he had to marry the three chasers on his House Quiditch team. Harry reminisces on his triple wedding day about how he took a wrong turn into the girl's Gryphindor locker room after his first Quiditch game.

The second one would be funnier if it goes with Dobby's "helping" Harry by causing even more chaos with overenthusiasm with wacky views on what exactly is helping

I like the idea of Harry with all three chaser girls. Would be highly entertaining.

Option 4 is the best and option 3 is my runner up. You would have to have some serius(intentional) problems to like the furry idea.

With all of the Furry action going on in fanfiction I am suprised that the potential of the Polyjuice incident is not written about very much. I've only ever seen one, one-shot fic in which Hermione's tail had a mind of its own (think tenticle-tail).

Look up 'Jackalman' at adultfanfiction.net.

I just got an idea: what if when they took the Polyjuice potion, changed them into a tailed demon? Now I know this might get the response: wtf? but think about it. (I'm referring to the tailed beasts of naruto if you didn't know)

A possible explanation would be that they did something wrong while brewing the potion, changing the cat hair into a demon-cat-hair?
I'm curious to see what you guys think.

Unless polyjuice can grant massive amounts of power it wouldn't do much. Polyjuice is basically the potion form of henge. It changes your body along with your voice. That is it. It cannot give you extra power of Voldemort would spend all of his time trying to find pieces of Merlin's coprse for his own personal batch.

Maybe that's the power the Dark Tosser knows not: being able to gain, perhaps permanently, positive traits from a Polyjuice transformation. So, after becoming Goyle (or was it Crabbe?) he gains greater strength, durability, and/or eyesight, for example.

I always thought that the Polyjuice potion was kind of like the Polymorph spell in Dungeons & Dragons. You temporarilly gain the form of someone, but not the special abilities of that someone. Though as in D&D there are varients of the polymorph spell that grant some or all of the special abilities of the thing transformed into, there could also be varients of the Polyjuice potion that also grant special abilities either temporarilly or permanently. If Hermione were to have either intentionally, unintentionally, or accidentilly created one of the varients of the polyjuice potion, then the results could be as equally benificial and detrimental plus have messy results as side effects.

While that could grant minor abilities, you have to admit high level transformation magic tends to be noticibly less potent than that of the biju.

I got this idea a few seconds ago, what if it wasn't just a cat hair Hermione accidentally used with her polyjuice potion? what if we replaced it with either the hair of a vampire, or a werewolf, or both, which gives Hermione the powers of a crossbreed of the races, as long as the polyjuice potion is in effect?

hmm, either new fic or well, we'll see

Despite the severe necro action going on, vampires are usually an auto-fail plot devise.
Few people can write vapires well. Also, think to the realm of possibility with this challenge. While it is very very remotely possible that werewolf hair might be involved, vampires are not mentioned at all as having been in hogwarts until book 6, and then it was a questionable issue as to weather he was a vampire or not. (Maybe Lupin was in the castle for an interview for the 3rd year DADA position.)

Better than polyjuicing into merlin... Well if it works like D&D Polymorph. Just do like Pun-Pun! Turn yourself (briefly) into a god... I'm sure there would be residual effects too.

Cthulhu!Harry is ftw. :)
