Have you heard of this fic? Delenda Est on fanfiction.net. Harry goes back in time, marries Bellatrix, but past that I don't know (haven't finished yet). The story is more or less focused on the politics of the times (and later on... ). I highly recommend reading it.

I remember reading that one a few months back. It was enjoyable. Don't remember the details now though, but Harry's initial hesitancy over getting into a relationship with Bellatrix was interesting to read. As were her attempts to woo him over. And her introspections on 'what-if' she had a different choice.

Ron because he was there during Harry's adventures and thanks to the Fidelius thinks he did all those things Harry did (take on the Troll, Quirrellmort, the basilisk, etc.) himself though Hermione thinks he didn't because some things don't add up. I think there's a scene where Ron tries to collect a life debt from Hermione but fails (though that could be a different story I'm not sure). I'm pretty sure the Fidelius breaks and Ron is worried about how he took credit for things that Harry did and Hermione I think leaves to find Harry.

I recall a story I'm looking for it. It was primarily a story about Harry and Susan Bones. The one thing I remember about it was Harry making an offer to Susan to restore the Bones name or something like that, not realizing that's basically a marriage proposal. She points that out, what it means, and after some time, he offers it again.

She does that in PoP too. Once Harry puts a Fidelius on his identity, she wonders why the hell she's at Hogwarts with all the blood supremacists when there's logically nothing holding her down there, and that's what sets the ball rolling for the great Muggleborn exodus.

So I'm looking for a story I read a long time ago. It starts just after the Chamber of Secrets scene.

There's a lot of stories where the basilisk venom + phoenix tears causes an odd reaction in Harry's body, but the one I'm looking for stacked that on top of the philosopher's stone.

It was unique in that Dumbledore had lied about what happened to the philosopher's stone. He had told Harry that he destroyed it after talking with Flamel, but in this story it was already destroyed when he arrived and the shards embedded in Harry's body. It hadn't been an issue before though.

When the basilisk blood and phoenix tears combined in his body they were a dangerous reaction, but the elixir of life from the shards of the philosopher's stone (which I think had collected around his heart) stabilized it.

i vaguely remember something like that, but the one i recall is a Harry Potter imprints on Anime/Manga Alucard so i doubt that's the one you're searching for.

I'm trying to find a story I once read. I recall it being rather sizable.

The scene I recall is a conversation between Harry, Hermione and Neville. Potentially a few other participants. In it, Hermione gets on something of a roll about her views that the Muggle world is superior to the magical one, and winds up saying a number of things in the vein of 'the magical should get with the times' etc. Through this, Neville gets more and more frustrated.

Eventually, when towards the end of the scene, the group has drifted apart. But Neville, venting, pulls Harry aside for a moment and in a fit of temper asks if Hermione has to be such a mudblood sometimes, referring specifically to the way she tends to hear one aspect of magical culture and then leap to conclusions and start trying to 'fix' what she doesn't bother to understand.

I remember enjoying the story, but don't recall what the name was. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Don't remember much about the plot but I do remember it was set in
Harry's 5th year and Umbitch was neutralized by virtue of the fact

The real question is why would you ever want to read a kinsfire fic?

All the ones I ever read were exactly the same- Harry goes super emo, and then a group of extremely attractive women who are in love with him work together to save him from his emoness.

I remember it being even more formulaic then Jeconais' work, and all of his stories are identical

I remember reading this years ago on SIYE but cant find it now. It went along the lines of after Sirius died Harry went on a tropical vacation (story says that but doesnt go into detail about his vacation just jumps to september 1st) and then came back during the welcoming feast at Hogwarts through a portal in the Great Hall. Harry was more sure of himself and I believe he either bought out the butterbeer companies or made a rival drink similar to it to hurt voldemorts finances. It was a Harry Ginny fanfiction and I remember other bits and pieces I'm trying to remember the name if anyone can help me out.

i may be mixing stories but i do remember them having Badass lavender, susan and Luna and wolf riders (but that may be another fic wholly) but the thing i'm sure of is that when the gang had a really really heavy case of PSTD and were functionally insane and knew how to play the crowds in order to achieve what they wanted i remember a scene where they dressed up as Warrior-kings (whatever that really means)in the last chapter (that i read years ago anyway) to play the part of conquering heroes, and after that they reverted to the PSTD suffering veterans that took refuge in their insanoty and co-dependency of eachother..

The Badass Lavender, Susan, and the wolf riders are definitely from Harry From Another World, but the rest, about the PTSD and co-dependency don't ring a bell.

so, basically the only thing anyone remembers from my description was the fic that prompted me to vaguely remember the other fic.
thanks anyway, i knew it was a long shot because not even me remembers crearly if it was a full story, a forum thread story or various chapters inside plot ideas a la "ood ideas" from roscharch's blot.
