Harry Potter Harry Potter: Nocturne

Yup, I've actually decided to cross these two, though not as...radically as some might worry. Basically I had two different ideas on how this could be done. Option One) Harry somehow discovers the energy known as Magatsui (sp?) (think up your own way for him to find out about it) and finds that, with enough of it, he can use it to literally shape the world the world in his image. This would be a light crossover and the only thing it would be taking from SMT:N would be Magatsui, the concept of 'Reason', and maybe a select few other things. After that, well just set Harry down the path to his eventual redemption/damnation and off we go. Option Two) Harry is approached by the The Child and Old Woman as well as The Old Man and Lady In Black, the Child implanting a Magatama within him turning him into a demon, and both of them attempting to use him for their own inscrutable agendas. At this point it could split, you could either have the Conception take place and have Harry follow down the path that the game took, or ignore the Conception and just have Harry with his newfound demonic powers continue on in his world towards whatever plotline you wished to whisk him away into. This would essentially be a much bigger cross between the two, if not a full crossover, and thus would include much more of the SMT:N elements. Special thanks go out to GenocideHeart for introducing me this amazing game that inspired me to come up with this, thanks man.

You're welcome. May I suggest another option, though?

3) Magatama are basically symbiotic demons... which means they can be summoned. And they tend to seek out a host.

An accdent while attempting a summoning might well cause one to appear near Harry and forcibly bond with him, essentially making him in a Hitoshura. Following that, Harry would have to adjust to his new nature, which among other things will make him sensible to shifts in dark powers (remember how he could feel the Matador's presence?).

As for Magatsuhi, it's basically concentrated negative emotions turned into energy, meaing that any demon has some naturally, as do humans. In fact, humans are the biggest source of Magatsuhi around...

By the way, you prolly noticed already, but the tattoos on Hitoshura's skin represent his health. They're green when hes fine, and turn red as he gets hurt.

Oh, I should warn you, though. Hitoshura, or 'Demi-Fiends', are scarily powerful. Powerful enough that they can kill God. No, not some god, THE God, YHVH, Bible, y'know?

So if you plan to make Harry one, make sure you have him take a good long amount of time to learn how to use his power, because even a minor thing like gettin pissed could have dire consequences. Like a smeared Draco on the floor.

Which is why if you went for the first idea or even a mix of the two, as long as you didn't have the Conception taking place, then Magatsui would be in abundant supply with all the humans around, and remember Manakins, which were the demons main source of Magatsui, are only half of a human, the body is there but the soul has left, just like the souls you encounter during the game are only half as well, the soul but no body. So if half a human could produce that much just imagine how much a full human could produce.

Yah I did, I think we talked about it once before.

Yah that would be a problem, though I personally don't intend on writing this, which is why I'm putting it up here, anything I put up here I don't plan on writing and am giving it to others to do with as they wish.

By the way... the perfect place for Harry to meet the Boy and Old Man would be... Azkaban. With nothing to really lose, why refuse an offer for something that'd keep the Dementors at bay, like a Magatama? ;)

Heh, that's a good idea, hell you could even have the Dementors be the first demons that he meets and he could even possibly recruit them if you wanted to take that route with it.

On an unrelated note... SMT/Evangelion.

After all, in NGE, you fight God's Angels... and in SMT, God isn't exactly friendly towards the Hitoshura, due to his, ah... coughCHOICEINALLIEScough.

Sooo... since Shinji is fighting God's Angels... it'd make sense for the Boy and the Old Man to... take an interest in him. And perhaps provide him with a little extra power...

Sounds interesting. Though I haven't played the game yet. Reading up on it, it does seem to be a game I'd be interested in. :)
