Here's another Self-Insertion Challenge

In the theme of previous challenges I've posed: write a self-insertion where you are inserted as Senator Robert Kinsey. Time of arrival is any point between the first mission to Abydos (the movie) and the second (episode one of SG-1). You have access to all his knowledge and resources of that time.

While's he's an adversary in canon, what could you do with his contacts and resources?

Normally, self-inserts are as appealing to me as walking in on your grandparents when they're trying out exotic sexual positions, but this one has potential for greatness in the right hands.

Which reminds me, I should read more Stargate fics.
