I Just Bought Guild Wars 2

It was on sale until noon April 1st for $39.99, so I bought it at the last minute. It's gonna take a few hours to download and install it though. Anyone else here play? What race should I pick?

So I guess no one else here plays Guild Wars 2. Huh, I figured with the rather massive World of Warcraft sub-forum that there'd be more MMO players around here.

I own Guild Wars 2, but I don't play it much anymore. Too many other games and my fear of addiction. If we got people together to do some group events I'd certainly wake Buerendall up and smite people.

I still haven't gotten to play it yet, my buddy made me promise to wait until we could play together and he's been busy irl since I bought it! I'm hoping I'll be able to get into it. I hated WoW because of the grind and the boring combat but he told me that Guild Wars 2 isn't like that, it's the MMO for people who disliked WoW. We'll see.

I play it pretty constantly, I'm on Borelis Pass, and I'm currently lvling a rogue, who is currently 64. The game itself is pretty fun, with an utterly massive overworld. The game is more based on world exploration than anything else, although there are group quests and events that pop up everywhere, and are actually random sometimes.
