Bleach ICHIGO Awakens, for the Stars are Right

Lord Raine has occasionally argued, rather persuasively, that Kurosaki Ichigo is some sort of dormant Cosmic Horror. The fight with Sokyoku on the execution ground is certainly indicative of his power, for example.

So, lets say that this is true. What happens when he awakens his full power? As this isn't the Lovecraft-verse, there's a much better chance that he'll still be recognizably himself, even if the full power includes an expanded awareness.

Other than astrological formations, what could cause him to fully awaken, I wonder?

One interesting point (though its far back in time) would be when the rescue of Rukia was going on. Specifically that giant phoenix bird with the poewr of a million Zanpaktou;'s concentrated. Say that it 'breached' Ichigo's spiritual shell and his 'inner cosmic horror' spilled out from his speeping form.

Cthulhu would rape him in the butt on Myspace.

Good thing this wouldn't be a crossover.

cosmic horrors are so 100 years ago, lets go with higher dimensional being slumming it in the human world out of punishment/boredom/bet.

Cosmic Horror, Transcendent Being, all the same to Lovecraft.

I first thought you meant a Bleach/FSN crossover.

Then I realized that it would be KUROSAKI, not ICHIGO.

Part of the charm about cosmic horrors (the big ones at least) is that they don't show up to blow the entire world away. They use psychotic humans and non-humans to get things done. Reworking that could be 'Ichigo is linked to cosmic horror'.
