Hmm... this is something I've considered for my LH darkfic...
Basically, there's this extremely powerful ancient... creature, shall we say, because she's not quite a vampire, despite often acting like one.
Anyway, she apparently is able to travel from reality to reality, and usually leaves her mark on each of them in often catastrophic fashion Examples:
-in LH's case, she indirectly causes the death of almost every Hinatasou resident when she turns little Shinobu in a vampire following a freak accident.
-in Sailor Moon she causes Crystal Tokyo to become a society where undead and living actually live in harmony after she turns Usagi in a vampire.
-in Ranma, she actually brings Soun's wife back from the grave, but her status as undead is apparent, since touching someone skin-to-skin for a prolonged period can cause weakness and even death (the classic D&D life drain that undead have). This in turn causes the three Tendo sister to develop different personalities, and ultimately changes the outcome of Ranma's first visit.
-in O!MG, she permanently gives Keiichi the power and position of the Lord of Terror, figuring that this would be a solution to the fact that he asked to be with Belldandy forever, but a mortal is not forever. This, however, causes a rift between the Norns and Heaven, and ultimately results in the destruction of most of Earth dutring a violent conflict between Heaven's forces and the Lord of Terror.
And so on. In all cases, she's simply the instrument of the change, and usually acts in response to someone's wish... she's basically like the Wishmaster movie's genie (hence the series' name)... she grants wishes, but the outcome may not be pretty.
This, as you can imagine, has potential. What do you think?
