Ranma ½ idea I got from another section

Or the loud ones in this case. I've been thinking.

In the naruto section, it was mentioned that Hinata's character was just a facade. An act. So what if the same was true with Akane?

She has this act of hating perverts, but pushes it to the extreme. But in truth she is just as if not more so a female pervert.

Think about it, what is the best alibi to have? I dunno where this could lead to, or if this should belong in the 18+ section since it might go that way, but hell I just thought it would be a good omake or something.

Maybe even crack.

It has been explored before, actually. Typically as a sub-theme for a story. It would be... interesting to see it as something more towards the front of the story. Only problem is, what exactly would you do with the idea? The conflict is obvious, but I don't really see a non-lemon resolution to it. Unless it's an interior monologue piece...

Oddly, there are several instances in the manga that can be taken either way. As proof that she is like that, and that she isn't. No doubt others will provide examples, I don't wanna dwell on it too much and turn this thread into another "Akane is like this!" "No she's not!" discussion.

Alright, I do want to prevent this thread in falling into a basic 'yes' and or 'no' conflict.

What I am intrested in, is how it can be used, but kept either as a minimum lemon, or just for plain fun.

Akane could initiate the encounters, then play innocent just to see the chaos unfold. The same could be said for her martial arts, she holds back, just in case she needs to be serious.


(just a random thought, but akane+THE JOKER equals VERY SCARY THOUGHT

Well, let's see. What you could do here is show a series of events from her perspective, perhaps have some internal conflict between her not pervert and pervert sides. Or do it from Ranma's perspective, as he figures out that she's doing this stuff on purpose. And then either plays along, tries to get her to stop doing it or tries to talk to her about what she's doing... the second there is more in character.
