Being the anal-retentative bitch that I am sometimes, I can't help notice all the really small mistakes people make while writing fanfics.

The three most common ones in my experience are

1.) The Loose/Lose issue
You can't loose something, that would be something totally different! Where did people get the idea that you can loose something?

2.) The Past/Passed issue
What the hell is wrong with people who say that something happened in the passed? :headbanger:

And as everyone with some skill in English knows

3.) The There/Their/They're issue
'nuff said.

Seriously, I've seen people who have English as their SECOND language and who don't make those kinds of mistakes.

Defiantly in place of definitely.

Per say in place of per se.

Segway in place of segue.

I could go on and on. Suffice it to say, search and replace is your friend.
