If it was the same universe Motoko would be competing for Keitaro's affections against her own niece (Which is nothing compared to the interrelationships of the love polyangle in Tenchi Muyo, but still).
Do you mean Cassandra? In any thread that Cassandra shows up, I automatically take her side... If she's in this universe, I ship Cassandra/Keitaro..

To be honest, I don't know much about Cassandra. Wasn't she the daughter of a famous/infamous assassin, and was adopted by Bruce? Or do I have my facts completely wrong/thinking of someone else? I really only know my Batman from the DCAU. Unfortunately, while my local library has a rather large comics section, there's little on Cassandra, and on Batman in general. Even if there is something wither her, they expect you to know all about her. By now, I jsut take it in stride. I guess I don't have to have read it to understand what's going on, but it would make things much easier.

Why would Motoko know the English nickname for penis?

Pretty close, although Bruce didn't really adopt her they way he should have and kind of screwed her over for a long while in canon. Right now she's part of Batman Inc in Asia working as a solo hero. We've shot around the idea of Bruce and Tsuruko formally adopting her here, which would be a much better fate for her.

Well if you want a Keitaro Cassandra story....

During Keitaro's trip to the states one of th places he and Seta explored was Arkham Asylum. Going by the game of the same name there's a fair amount of forgotten history there which intrigues Keitaro more than Seta's Turtle Civ. Now due to his adventures in Gotham while researching Arkham Keitaro does not becom Seta 2.0.

Now while in Gotham he stumbes across Cassandra Cain when he accidently foils a robbery, mostly by standing in the wrong place at the wrong time and naturally becoming a hero. Anyways the two chat and become friends before he leaves in an effort to discover himself.

Eventually Keitaro and Cassandra meet again whn she goes to Asia as part of her work with Batman Inc and the story flows from there.

If you want to talk about it some more feel free to pick it up in the Misc deas thread.

Now Back to Bruce's blushing bride.

All right we've established that Bruce and Tsuruko would likely check in on Motoko, and the Dick Grason may pop up as well. Now the person I'd have the most fun with is Alfred, as his dry wit and fatherly qualities would work well at Love Hina. I wouldn't even mind him giving Keitaro pointers on how to best manage his residents without them ever being aware of him exerting influence.

Someone at DC animation read this thread and greenlite the following idea. However....they managed to ruin our concept. The fact that what people have written in this thread is better than the following is scary indeed.

A new CGI toon called "<a href='http://tv.ign.com/articles/119/1198274p1.html' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Beware the Batman</a>"

Some Quotes:

"[The Series] will spotlight a classic-looking Batman teaming up with a gun-toting Alfred Pennyworth and a female ninja sidekick."

'So who is this ninja sidekick? Her name is Katana, and Register was quick to point out that she "won't be a replacement for Robin." '

I always promised myself I'd go out fighting, and that's what I plan to do. To be fair I posted it here because at the time I was unaware that Katana was a DC comics character. Now that I know better I feel good knowing our attempts at fun were not the cause of this idea.

That said, I'm inclined to change Tsuruko's weapon of choice while accompanying her husband. Perphaps a Naginata?

She's fighting with Batman. He won't allow her to carry live steel unless it's blunt. A sword or naginata is meant to kill, not to knock out.

A bokken would fit her style, and is quite adequate for knocking people out with.

Bruce Wayne stood in front of a mirror as his wife adjusted his tie. Her deft fingers moving swiftly as she spoke ôI think I made my point, finally.ö She said as she straightened his tie. ôPersonally, IÆm more concerned about Ras taking more of an interest in you because of all this.ö She stepped back examining her work.

Bruce stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her towards him. ôI wouldnÆt worry. HeÆs not as upset as he seemed and neither was Talia.ö He kissed her as she smiled at him. ôThat really was just their way of testing us both. I think we passed.ö

Tsuruko snuggled into his arms ôWhat makes you say that?ö

Bruce kissed the top of her head ôAt the end he called you æYojimboÆ, in his mind, and likely in TaliaÆs you protect me.ö

ôFrom yourself or your enemies?ö she pushed away from him, still smiling.
ôBoth in all honestyö a knock at the door prevents any further discussion on the topic ôEnter.ö

ôThe car is ready sir, and Miss Brown has arrived to babysit the twins.ö Alfred began as he stepped into the room. ôYoung masters Drake and Grayson are currently performing their nightly community service and asked that I inform you that all is well.ö

ôThank you Alfred.ö His wife called as Bruce moved to open the door for her. ôWhatever would we do without you?ö

He bowed gracefully, as the master and mistress of the house left their bedroom to descend the stairs. As they did so, two young voices could be heard, in the middle of an argument.

ôNo! You got to watch æThundercatsÆ the last time she was here. Tonight weÆre watching æMy Little PonyÆ!ö

ôOh no! YouÆve been watching that show for two days straight. I am sick of hearing about the power of friendship.ö

ôTerry, Ami.ö A new voice intervened before either Bruce or Tsuruko could get involved. ôEither you both agree on something, or IÆm putting in æTwilightÆ.ö

The twins, both dark haired and cherub faced looked at their sitter in horror ôYou wouldnÆt.ö The smile on her face told them otherwise. After a moment the twins look at each other and nod. ôAvatar: The Last Airbender, season 3ö they said as one.

ôThere that wasnÆt so hard.ö She shooed the two cherubs to their spot on the couch, looking up just in time to see the WayneÆs ôOh! Good evening Sensei.ö
ôGood Evening Miss Brown.ö Tsuruko gestured for her to continue on with her task ôDonÆt mind us; we know the kids are in good hands.ö

ôAnd paws.ö Stephanie added with a grin glancing at a large black dog with a red collar that was padding its way into the room. As if knowing it was the subject of conversation the big dog raised its head and chuffed.

ôAce!ö Terry squealed as he patted a spot on the couch beside him. Ace glanced first at Bruce, who gave a short nod, before springing up onto the couch. The boy snuggling the hound as Ace settled into his spot.

Alfred cleared his throat. The husband and wife said their goodbyes and headed to the car.
Hmmm I'm not sure this scene works....

Interesting AU for Terry. Would Ami be an analogue for Silver Age Huntress?

Interesting... Still, all happy things for now. Want to see Tsuruko addressing the bitter Bats. On his parents, on Hush, on Jason.

Here's a snippet based on comments made back on page 1 about the Bruce Wayne: Murderer arc.

Cassandra Cain (Who would soon be Cassandra Wayne if the many well-paid lawyers her would-be guardian kept on retainer had anything to say about it) peeled off the leather and kevlar uniform of Batgirl and donned the civilian clothing she had left in the Batcave before going out on her evening patrol. She would have been fine with staying out longer, but Night Blade had insisted that she receive a basic education, which necessitated getting a minimum amount of sleep every night so that she could focus on her studies during the day. Since Cassandra had only recently learned how to talk and was still almost completely illiterate, she hadn't really been capable of arguing the point.

As Cassandra climbed the stairs to Wayne Manor, she heard the sound of a struggle. Realizing something was amiss, she started to run. Upon reaching the surface, she looked around and saw that the clean room that she had left three hours before was now a war zone. The furniture was overturned, thrown to other parts of the room, or simply smashed to pieces. The devastation didn't stop there. It had apparently started elsewhere, gone straight through the room, and kept on going to some other point in the mansion.

Rushing to the sound of continuing battle, Cassandra found herself heading to the manor's dojo. There she found two people locked in mortal combat. The first was Tsuruko Wayne. Night Blade. Batman's wife. The other was David Cain. Her father.

Both fighters were heavily battered by the fight, but Cassandra could tell what was going on. Her father's body language clearly stated that he intended to kill. Tsuruko's was more geared to defending herself, though she was clearly thinking about finding a way to break off from the fight long enough to retrieve her sword from the wall and use it to eliminate her opponent. She had not started the fight, but she clearly intended to finish it given a chance.

If she did nothing, it was possible that someone would die. If she acted, she would have to fight against one of the most important people in her life whoever she chose. A seemingly endless moment passed, and Cassandra made her choice.

Cassandra crept towards the fight, trusting in the battle keeping her target too focused on the immediate threat to notice a hidden one. Sneaking up behind her father, she viciously punched him in the kidneys. Howling with pain, Cain dropped to his knees. Taking advantage of the opening, Tsuruko quickly overcame her foe and soon had him unconscious on the floor.

As she bound Cain's hands with her belt, Cassandra looked to Tsuruko.

"Mother. Are you... alright?"

Tsuruko smiled at her. It wasn't until much later, after the GCPD had arrived and taken Cain away, that Cassandra realized that this had been the first time that she had called Tsuruko that.

Not bad, not bad. Glad to see this isn't completely dead, even if it is only one person.

Another major Batman arc that might change with Tsuruko around would be Knightfall. If Batman had one extra pair of hands to help deal with all the people that Bane had broken out of Arkham, he wouldn't have been so exhausted when Bane finally confronted him, which would potentially alter the outcome of the fight.

I've always like the way Bruce screwed over Bane in the animated series.

Bane: I'm going to hold you over my head and grandstand just like I did in the comic.

Batman: <uses a batarang to cut the venom tubes from the back of Bane's mask.>

Bane: Uh-oh... down I go...
