If you check the narrative on the first post, it was originally posted Jan 1st, and edited Jan 21st.

In Jan 1st it was just something like "Meow" as the Topic and "Meow Meow Meow" as the content, and it got retconned into being a coming-out announcement three weeks later, probably by Ero-Sennin.

(I'm not so much telling you personally, as recording this for posterity).
