Iron Fic 2-6: The Gamble

Sometimes you need to take a chance to get ahead. So you pull out the stops and bet everything you've got on one last roll of the dice. All in, everything on the table, going the distance... you know all of the cliches. If you win this, you've got everything. Lose and it's all over.

Don't underestimate the risk. If you're going all out and lose, you lose everything.

And don't forget, even if you go all in, there's no reason for your opponents to. And even less reason for them to play by the rules.

The challenge is made. So write!

Well, I wrote a page for this. Then I looked at it and realized that a few people that write for IF, are also in my Exalted campaign which I was using as a base for my entry. Could send you what I have, but I don't want my players spoiled by that. Last time they were spoiled about something, two of them were glaring at me for spoiling them.

Just post it in white color text. If they don't want to be spoiled, they'll know not to highlight it!

But then trolls could abuse that and spoil it for the rest.

You could send a copy to Watashiwa to prove it was finished in time, and ask that a certain set of people (those who don't want spoilers) to be excluded from judging.

EDIT: Wait, 3:05 PM? What?
You have different board time setting than I do.
When you quote somebody, the time in your post is written based on your time zone (from your board settings), and can be edited. It's not a time stamp.

So, given that the judges weren't called out yet, should we be grading ourselves like last week?

That's just LiCl. Wata probably tapped some judges. And if he didn't, well, it's tradition for you all to suffer in waiting! :D

(And I'm not volunteering to judge this week either)

Aw shucks, I'll blush, I really will.

Actually, I'm running a tabletop game tonight (assuming some of my missing players show up...), which is why I'm not volunteering. No time to do any reading/judging tonight.

If there are no judges, why not do what we did last week. Writers judging each other? With those who don't feel like judging saying that they opt out of it and thus not get judged and judge of the others?
