Iron Fic 2-9

Silence is golden, or so the saying goes. What happens in silence? A murder? A tender moment? A mistake?

Or does your silence speak? Damn a man to prison, or fill a lie of omission? The art of unspoken words is subtle, and much can be said with it.

This challenge is tough. Writing is an silent medium, so there's little difference between characters speaking and staying quiet. Try and stretch this a bit, maybe the quiet moment is implied or long past, or coming up. Just make sure that it's obvious!

Yes, this is being posted early. Today is my free day from digging, and I plan to spend it cleaning myself up, relaxing or sleeping. I may be around tomorrow or I might not be. We'll see. You still have until the usual time. We'll see how this ends up working out.

I find it slightly hilarious that there seems to be complete silence on the writing front regarding this week's IF.

Not entirely. I wasn't sure how long I'd have access to the computer. Still don't really, but it looks as though things will be business mostly as usual as far as posting goes.

Also, I find it hysterical that the prompt that garners no entries is "silence".
