Hey everyone. ItÆs me. TOM.



Anyone remember me? ItÆs been a while. Oh, I see unfamiliar faces. Well, let me introduce myself. The nameÆs TOM. TOM 5 to be precise. IÆm the captain of this ship, the Absolution. With me is my lovely digital assistant. Say hello, lady.

ôYes, wellà My name is Sara. I do most of the work on the ship, while TOM sits around and watches TV.ö

Heh. ItÆs true. Anyway, Watashiwa asked me to host the contest for the next few weeks, as a means of celebrating the new timeùthe 10 PM slot.

This is the first Iron Fic Midnight Run. Take it away, Sara.

<I thought IÆd have some fun with these, seeing as itÆs the first Iron Fic for a while. Yes, I grew up with Toonami. I wish it was still around, and still awesome. Oh well.

This theme is based on the ôWhat You Are In the Dark trope on TVtropes. Go there for inspiration, or go to the TFF IRC. IÆll be on for a half hour, then IÆll be on and off a bit past that.

I have a bit of work to do tomorrow. IÆll be asleep by the time the contest gets done, so any entries whose timestamp are past the closing time are out. Sound fair?

Lastly, I have judges lined up who have promised to have scores done tomorrow morning. TImewave Zero and Halibel Lecter are the judges. No delays this time.

I've spoken with a few people on #TFF. Turns out that the time is too much of an issue.

So, to fix this, tomorrow from 11am to 1pm, you can also submit fics.

I know this means that there's a whole chunk of extra time. I ask that you NOT use it for writing. Edit it, or think of ways to expand it, but please don't actually write the entry from 2a to 11a.

I also know that there's no way for me to watch this, so I want your word.

I'd ask for your promise on "boy scout's honor", but half of you aren't boys, and I doubt ANY of you are scouts... :lol:

So please. Play fair.

But write on! :mmm:
