Those are some interesting suggestions,á but for this they wouldn't worká á with Violet and The Dashá the universe they come from is too differentá (though if you want to see a good bit of fiction involving the dc universe and the Incrediblesá read Legend Makers fanfic. sins of youthá )
No prob, and thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

As for Sky Highá i never saw that movieáá (though i admit it did look interesting) in the previews).
You should see it. I didn't take any notice of it until I caught it on TV late at night. It's a really fun movie.

As for Ben/Gwen, I ultimately don't care about who hooks up with who (it's a fic about superheroes and I want action, not romance [though I don't mind it if it's well-done and doesn't take over everything]), but frankly, I personally find the coupling strange, IMHO. I guess I could go with it though if one of them was adopted (that is if you do end up incorporating the idea). Personally though, Ben/Stargirl and Gwen and Static or Gear could be interesting.

I *really* like the idea of including JCA (I think the show's awesome) in here. Will you have the Marvel universe in here too, or the Teen Titans? Gargoyles could be really cool as well (like, being mentioned and such like the JCA stuff).

*L* I remember that ad. Funny, even though Aquaman-mocking makes me a sad little girl.
Superfriends Aquaman deserves mocking, the JL:U one, is a mock at a risk of being mutilated horrifically. He is a certifiable bad ass

I personally prefer Ben being paired with Kara, maybe you could pair Gwen with Jimmy Olsen? Superman has Lois, why not do the same with Gwen and Jimmy?

To answer your question, I won't be using the marvel universe.

Here are the decisions i have made so far

a. while pairings won't be the driving force of this fic i will be trying for a ben/ stargirl or supergirl pairing and a gwen/ static or gear

b. the list of heros that will be joining is such.

1.Ben 10
2. Lucky Girl (gwen) (she is thinking of changing her battle name to something more grown up soon.)
3. Static
4. Gear
5. Danny Phantom
6. Supergirl
7. Stargirl
8. Kim Possible
9. Ron Stoppable (post Graduation)

As mentioned before they would join as probationary members which would mean that any missions they would are a part of requires a founding member (or if one is not available a senior member in good standing.)

Their Probationary period ends when they have completed a certain number of missions and have been recommended for full membership by a senior member

Awesome. I like the hero line-up as well. I'm interested in seeing how the young heroes will interact with one another as well as with the older Leaguers.

Will Ben's control over the omnitrix be something like in Ben 10 (no real control) or Alien Force (can choose which one to turn into all the time and change into different ones)?

Also, I think Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable are a bad choice. First of all, they have no super powers. It is a weak reason not to include them, when the JLU has people like the Green Arrow, Batman, the Question, Huntress and such, but the fact also remains that they also don't have any alter egos or secret identities. When they face the enemies the League faces, anyone will be able to search the web for Kim Possible, see her web page and find her personal info and such. Then he family and friends will be targets and so on and so forth. You also can't translate their villains very well into the JLU series like you would be able for the others.

The last reason is that there you have a list of 9 people. That is a large group to cover, and if you include the official League member that has to supervise their missions, it would be 10. That may be overly ambitious when you take into consideration that Ben can turn into any of the 19 aliens you have selected, and for the most part, each seems to have a slightly different personality (at least they do in Alien Force).

So jaredstar, you won't be using your "PPG" idea? If not, too bad I would have found it interesting.

to answer your question and statements, Ben will have a variation of his AF control (he won't randomly power down, but at the same time he won't be able quick change more then once before risking powering down.) and just for the record he would have 32 alien forms ( the first 19, the alien force 10 (with a differently powered alien x) and the three Ben 10K we were shown )

as to kim and ron and their lack of powers and secret identity's i will grant you that they don't have secret identity's but they do have access to powers.

ron has his mmp going on seen here (sorry about the music it is all i could find) and kim has that tech suit of hers (provided wade can get that darn thing to work)

back to the identity thing it wouldn't be too hard to slap on a mask and call your self monkey boy (or some other battle name)

as for their villeins the vast majority are neutralized, dead or turned and the the rest would fit in rather well (even if only as c listers ).

now let move away from Kim and Ron for a moment move on to the rest of what you said. i am sorry i didn't make this clear but it wouldn't be them going on missions as one large group (i admit that 9 heros (10 if i decide to add the blue beetle (jamie)) on one mission would get confusing but the idea i had is that members of the group would go on missions where their skill would be of use.

For instance a mission dealing with somebody like the Gentleman Ghost or some other supernatural villein would involve Danny and Gwen, while somebody like Gear and Danny (as upgrade) would be suited to a mission involving somebody like Metallo or some other tech based bad guy.

you know when i started this i intended to put it in the ben 10 section of the various story archives but i think i will put it in the justice league section instead.

While i have been typing all this i have been giving thought to the security Kim and Ron's families the two thoughts that came up were that i believe that Kim and Ron could make arrangements that would allow their families to have emergency communicators so that if they were attacked they could be teleported to safety.

the other thought was that in the dcau (which will be the host universe) there are only a handful of bad guys who are brain dead enough to try to attempt something like that ( the Joker for instance). maybe i am just being optimistic about the average intelligence of the villains in the dcau but i am willing to bet that most of them know that kidnapping a hero's family would be a very quick way to bring a large number of heros to their doorstep.

I think you are underestimating the villains in the DCAU universe. While in the cartoons the general violence is somewhat played down, you still have to understand that these people are murders, thieves, killers, and worse who will not hesitate to take advantage of any sign of weakness of the heroes. They would be brain dead if they didn't use the heroes families as bargaining chips.

Which Blue Beetle were you going to use anyways? The one from the Brave and the Bold, or the one from the new comic book? The one from the cartoon is a lot clumsier and unused to his suit, while the one from the comics is much more competent (though he also doesn't know all of his suits capacities and is hindered by the fact that his weapons are mostly always lethal) and funnier, plus has experience with both magic, aliens, and technology. Plus he is best buds with Guy Gardner.

i will give that some thought ( about what to do with ron and kim)

as for which version of Jamie i will be using i was thinking of going with the brave and the bold version. But with elements of comic Jaime. i just enjoy him alot more then the comic version (that and i want to make use of the fact he and Ron sound the same for comedic purposes.)

heck he is the kind of person the probationary period idea was based around
