Had a recent idea pop into my mind, wanted to see if it floated.
We know in the New 52, Thomas Wayne Jr is Earth-3's Owlman, we know he supposedly killed Bruce and his parents as well.
But Thomas seems to have no double on Earth-0.
Also, Mobius-Batman, when he asked the Mbius Chair who the Joker truly was, he was shocked and claimed it was impossible.
I think Thomas Wayne Jr is Joker.
The tidbits we had in previous incarnations of DC was that Thomas was about 3 years older, suffered head trauma in a car crash, and became mentally unstable. But as of yet in the New 52, we have yet to see who he is.
Also, if true, it would mean that as Batman/Joker are Order/Chaos, then on Earth-3 with its reversals, would mean that as Owlman became a being of Order, we would need a counterpart for chaos, thus Earth-3's Joker must have been Bruce.
I think your brother shooting you, leaving you for dead, and whoever likely rescued him, would have done a number on him as well, and would explain why both Jokers targeted the 'family' of their brother.
So, does this hold water, or am I off on a wild tangent here?
