This is just an idea that's been bouncing around in my head for awhile so here, as a gift to all the little people (jk), I give to you my random fic idea of the week.
This is one of my attempts at trying to make a believable Shinji X Ritsuko and, if done correctly, I think could turn out well. *Official Story Pitch* Shinji finds himself growing closer to the least likely of people, one Ritsuko Akagi. Over a series of visits to her lab (for check ups, tests, or whatever, think up whatever reason you want, it could be anything from Shinji getting a disease and needing to go in for treatment to him just going in for his normal tests and physicals, be creative) and the subsequent conversations that are birthed from these visits. As Shinji grows to know Ritsuko he begins to understand the true horror of the monster that is his father and his own growing feelings towards a certain bottle-blonde. And just what does Ritsuko think about the new speculative eye she's turning on the Third Child as well as the thoughts she's been having about one-upping Gendo by doing the same thing he did to her and her mother by dumping him for his son. Must be Shinji X Ritsuko, no one-sided "Shinji likes Ritsuko but she does not return feelings". Also Ritsuko's feelings must be genuine, not just to get back at Gendo. So, good luck and god speed to all those up and coming authors out there and hope to see a story like this very soon.
