So, Season 4 officially started, with a soft-reset period, and probably the biggest buff EVER for Annie. With full CDR, she basically now has a perma-bear on command.

Welp, I've uninstalled. I've gotten chat restricted three times now from a combination of premades reporting me for not licking their balls, enemies reporting for not handing them wins, but mostly trolls reporting to try and get out of trouble themselves, and now I've gotten a 3 day ban.

Of the four report cases, two were 4/3 man premades (both of which I ignored and never said anything to- the funny part is that the report text for one person for one of the premades was "what a fucking faggot dick muncher"), one report was an enemy shaco that went 1/27 in ARAM (the only thing I said in that aram was to ask Vi to peel for me a bit more, because wasting ult to get the trist free is pointless when she rocket jumps before the ult even connects, never said a thing in /all), and the last I genuinely don't know what the fuck- reported by ally, no report text, only thing I said was "OK, I need a quick vision test- is it just me or am I facing a _malphite_ top lane? What is this, s1?"

I've literally stopped talking in-game at ALL and I still get a ban. Fuck that and fuck them.

tl;dr: tribunal can suck my cock. Riot gets no money from me, and I hope it never gets any of your money either. Tribunal is a pisspoor solution from a shitty company that makes a fuckload of money.

Not like the game isn't about to turn to shit anyway with them hiring fuckin ghostcrawler of all people for their balance team. The retard thinks chess is a perfect example of RNG in gaming.

You forget I was in Bronze- ranked was worse because everyone wanted to tryhard but wasn't actually good enough to tryhard.

MMR is fucked up this season, the soft reset was more like a "fuck you, everyone is in bronze now" reset. It's so bad that diamond players are getting put into silver.

Tribunal Infographic.

1.4% of all players are punished by the Tribunal. 50% of these never get another Tribunal case.

The average player has about 1 report every 100 games.

I know players often hear they are being reported, but players usually forget or don't follow through at the end of a match. The average player with 2000 games actually has about 20-40 reports total.

At a (slightly generous) guess, I'd say you have about 300 - 400 games played, Shirotsume. That would put the average player at about 3 - 4 reports total. As per the infographic above, the average first-time offender in Tribunal has 11 reports. The average repeat offender has 70.

It is completely possible that you've had an extremely unlucky streak, but being punished by the Tribunal four times would certainly make me think.

If it helps the issue any, none of the reports you've gotten until now will count towards new Tribunal cases after the ban is over:

Also, please note that the person I quoted all of this from is named 'Lyte' on the NA forums and 'Riot Lyte' on the EUW forums.

Since the second chat restriction, I literally just mass ignore everyone at the start of the match and then never say anything.

Pings work for everything.

tl;dr: You can think all you like, it's rather hard for me to verbally abuse someone when I just don't talk or even see others talking.

And the average player at 300-400 games having 3-4 reports is ABSOLUTELY bullshit. People report at the drop of a hat. Maybe it's different at other elo, but where I was at least 3 people got reported a game if people actually reported half of who they said in postgame chat, when I bothered actually sticking around for it.

Very rarely do people who say they will report, actually bother to do so. It's more a threat, than anything.

I think mass ignoring is just a bad idea, since not everyone pings constantly.

And even constant pings are problematic. The ping spamming didn't improve with the different ping variants. Doesn't always tell you what's being pinged, since a slip of the finger/wrist will make a wrong signal.

Pimping this. The guys who made it are apparently ending their run with this, which is sad, because this is fucking awesome work.

So I reinstalled LoL to see if it would be worth playing. Logged in, had ~48 games chat restricted. What?

Whatever, play a few arams, wasn't having much fun, logged and went to sleep. Woke up, did shit, logged in, had ~64 chat restricted games. Interesting...

Played a few games, logged, decided right after to see if maybe it was just aram that wasn't fun.

~82 chat restrictions on login.

Apparently, every time I log in, I get exactly +20 chat restrictions, regardless of if I've played any games or not. I'm currently up to 2100+ chat restricted games, just from dicking around logging in and out. I'm having more fun doing that then actually playing, so I probably just won't bother keeping LoL installed.

But yeah, either my account is bugged or Riot thinks I'm the antichrist.

You'd think I would at least get some cool powers out of it.

I'd report it, if you can. At the very least, it would help out other players who might develop a similar bug. Plus, if you do find love for the game again, you won't have to worry about your account getting banned or something stupid.

Riot literally hired a guy to argue with the community about whether or not the tribunal worked, the only thing reporting it would get me is permabanned because obviously everything is working as intended :p

Riot's implemented some Bots on the PBE. Pretty powerful ones, at that.

What's that? You don't think BOTS are that scary?

WITNESS THE DOOMBOTS AND DESPAIR!

The player is Stonewall008, who is a Diamond level player. It took MULTIPLE TRIES for him to beat them ONCE.

Doombots.
Advanced champion bots who have been given extreme/unfair advantages that get more extreme/unfair the higher you go. There are currently 5 levels of Doombots.

Don't quote me, but I think Riot might be doing this in response to the numerous people who say that bots won't prepare you for actual matches. Alternatively, it might also be a response to how people claim certain champions are OP when they're actually not that strong.

From what I've heard, there's at least ten champions in total who've been super-charged, including Karthus, Zyra, Ezreal, Annie, Blitzcrank, Ziggs, Kassadin and Galio.

You can count Lux into that list. Seriously, her R now fire in such a way that it covers all 360 degree.

It's just a fun game mode that in no way could ever prepare you for real matches, because the bots are that insanely op

So the players broke the internet again? That's why Riot made these things?

Doom Bots of Doom V, first try. No amount of OP bots can deal with the hardest, vilest split pushing ever seen.

you can only win via splitpushing.

There are some combos that are just pure evil, like anything involving doom swain.

I suppose it is technically possible to win a brute-force teamfight, but it's certainly not the easiest way to win against them. For random pug groups, however, split pushing will prove to be a very consistent strategy, due to the AI's absolutely abysmal control over the flow of the game. Our team basically achieved a lock by 18 minutes or so, the rest of the time was just positioning so the minion waves would do enough damage the the base to win.

I've yet to see Doom Swain in action, but as far as what I have experienced, the most dangerous bots are Zyra, Annie, Lux, Morgana, and Malzahar. Everything else didn't seem to get buffed too hard.
