A relatively short time, yes, but Reinforce is pretty much responsible for all of the good fortune Hayate had in her life.
Not really...not at all. I'm pretty sure the Wolkenritter and Reinforce are completely separate entities.

Without Reinforce choosing Hayate as the Master of the Book of Darkness, Hayate would not have met the Wolkenritter and likely never would've had a family. And without meeting the Wolkenritter, she wouldn't have met friends that were mages like herself. Without them, she'd never have gone on to the life of success she had with Riot Force Six and the rest of her career in the Bureau.

Reinforce was pretty much the foundation of Hayate's entire good fortune in life.

I...suppose...? I guess if you really stretch it. But from what I understant the process of choosing a new owner is entirely random. Luck of the draw, as it were.

If you think about it, Hayate was (is? Is she still linked to Reinforce, I wonder? If so, she's linked to Yuuno now too) in her very soul. People often fall into love in mere minutes, and out of love just as quickly.

A link through the soul would probably make that far easier and stronger. :)

No, one of the Sound Stages confirmed that Reinforce chooses the master, and Hayate was a deliberate choice so the Wolkenritter could live a peaceful life for once.

It would. And at the same time, it would be just as easy to confer the opposite emotions. Hence why all the negatives were included in that list of things Yuuno was saying Hayate and Reinforce's relationship could be made of.

Now that I did not know. Hmm... I think I might be able work with this.

I never liked that Sound Stage from what I heard about it. It kind of implies that Reinforce chose up to that point all of those horrible owners, unless I'm misrecalling. And that's like, wow. Thanks Reinforce. :)

Now I am more confused as to which canon to work with or if I should just make my own. XD

Between interviews, midnight shift, learning Blender, and a sudden, overwhelming RWBY binge the likes of which I have not sunk myself into in a very long time... I have an outline.

I'd suggest using what you want and don't use what you don't want. Long as it's consistent, that's the important thing. :) This stuff is from the Sound Stages, after all. ;) It's 'supplemental' stuff.

And this outline is doing me no good when I have writer's block.

Then it is time to put your pen down for a while.
Go and take a walk, try some yoga, contemplate the meaning of life etc.

Good stories are like good wine.
Both take time and patience and are appreciated by the consumer.

Perhaps you can help me with my story writing. I'd appreciate a few ideas since I too have hit a slump.
