Little Help.

Hi peoples.

I've been surfing the net researching various characters from BTVS for a story I'm working on and have run into a little trouble with Height Confusion.

What I've got is.

Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) 5' 3"
Alyson Hannigan (Willow) 5' 6"
Amber Benson (Tara) 5' 4''

I've found a few sites that match this. The problem being it doesn't mesh with what I remember.

If someone came up to me in the street and asked I'd tell them that Willow was a little taller than Buffy no way 3" and that Tara was a head taller than both of them.

So does anybody know for sure? I've seen mistakes about height on the web where one sight gets it wrong and everybody else just copies them.

On the other hand I could be remembering wrong. :huh.:

Of course in the show you'd rarely if ever have a normal comparison with how they film it. Shoes modify the perceived height and several other things modify it. Also remember that the series isn't the only source of images with bits coming from the movie and comics as well as games. Their dimensions may have also been printed in the Guides and RPG stuff.

Amazingly few pics that let you judge relative height.

And as you say even if I do find a good looking pic who knows what shoes they are wearing of if their playing silly buggers with the camera angles. :hmm:

How would it go if I just went with my impression from the show?

If you read a fic where Tara was mentioned to be taller than Willow would you immediately think "This is Crap he doesn't know what he's talking about!"

Looks like I was wrong about Tara being a lot taller than Willow and Buffy, but none of these pic really match the recorded heights of the actresses either.
