Looking for the name of a show

I am trying to remember to name of a cartoon that was on 18 to 20 years ago, it was set in Africa and the main characters were a young man who was native to the region, a native princess of the region who was cursed to turn into an antelope during the day, and an anthropomorphic rabbit who was brown and cream coloured.  I wish I could remember more about it but I was only around 8 at the time and I have been racking my memory for more info for a couple of years.

tbh, I just googled "cartoon 90s african curse" and saw this post in the results that looks similar.
