This occured to me after having just seen another Pervert Tsuruko story... what if she was the normal one, and Motoko the pervert...

Or one better. Something I've never seen. What if Tsuruko (now widowed or divorced) lived at the Hinata when Keitaro was railroaded and forced to be manager and Motoko was the one that visited from time to time.

Could see it going a couple ways, like Motoko learning of the new male manager of her sisters dorm and stalking the place in the believe the 'vile letcherous male' must be after her sister and it was her thought to prove herself to her sister by taking out a menace that she did not bother to and save her at the same time.

The problem that idea you present, PC, is one, in my mind, of plausibility. Sure, Tsuruko could be living at the Sou, but at her age (around Haruka's age, if the timeline can be trusted on this single account) would lead her not so much to be a tenant, in my estimation, as much as it would lead her to being the dorm manager. If we assume that Tsuruko knew Hina for whatever reason, when she found herself no longer married, by divorce or her husband's death, she may consider the Sou as a place to stay for a short bit while she gets her life back on track, and only after being there a couple months to a year or potentially two, she's been there long enough, and she's intelligent enough, coupled with being mentally mature enough to look after the other tenants. She might not be emotionally stable, nor legally SANE, enough to run the dorm, but in all accounts, neither was Hina. Tsuruko would still be a capable enough to run the place, as according to the manga, most of the actual DAMAGE to the dorm came when the girls were bashing Keitaro around, so she has less to do with actual building maintenance as much as managing major repairs with repairmen, and a lot more counseling the girls in their personal lives' issues. But with her there, it would seem to me that Keitaro being told to go to the dorm is even MORE of a blatant setup by Hina for evil, as with Tsuruko there, in my mind, the dorm doesn't need a manager... It may need a SANE manager, but it could be argued that Keitaro doesn't fit that bill all the time either...

I have read a story where she takes over for Keitaro, but was not interested in repeating that scenario when I made my suggestion.

She is not related to the Urashima's, they have no reason to place her in charge... She could be a good role model and voice of reason for the group though. We know Haruka was not always up there, but visited.

If her husband as I stated died, she may stay there for a time afterward, and might even explain Motoko being at the family school and only visiting, she could even be a former resident still.

She would not have to be there too long, even 6 months... merely long enough to be comfortable there and then have Keitaro arrive to throw her life in disarray again, for far different reasons. That being Granny remote detonating a bombshell of information in all their lives (can't have her be present for it after all).

I see your point about Tsuruko not being close enough to Hina to be dorm manager... Besides, it makes it much more convolutedly difficult to arrange Hina's shenanigans if she let Tsuruko rule the roost for a while... With that said, I still don't understand the logic...

I guess I don't understand how the chain of events you are envisioning would transpire to cause Tsuruko to be there when Keitaro arrives but Motoko not, and yet Motoko having been there as a former tenant, lending to the whole possibility of Tsuruko knowing of the Sou at all... I guess I can see Motoko going to the Sou as she did in the manga, stayed there for a bit, and then Tsuruko's husband dies. But I can't see why Motoko wouldn't stay there with Tsuruko, you know? I could very well be misinterpreting your setup, but if we were to assume a timeline similar to the manga, Motoko would have only been there for less than a year by the time that Keitaro would have arrived. In that time, Tsuruko moves in, and Motoko moves back to Kyoto? It doesn't make sense to me that Tsuruko's moving in would be at nearly the same time as Motoko going back to Kyoto, let alone why she would be leaving in any case. I realize that part of my assumption is that this attempts to use the manga's timeline, which is probably a big part in my confusion, as the manga's timeline is a huge steaming pile of s**t due to continuity issues riddled throughout...

In this AU, why does Motoko no longer live at the Sou? How long has the arrangement been in place? Those two questions' answers might make this a whole lot more clear for me...

But I could see it happening... if Tsuruko needs time away form their family dojo or from teaching their style to students, I could see them switching places for a while at least, Motoko going back to the homestead, and Tsuruko staying at the dorm... while unusual, I really cannot even see Hina or Haruka or Keitaro raising a fuss over it without raising all kinds of problem flags.

EDIT: and I noticed I somehow placed this idea in the wrong thread... bummer.

None of the girls are sane enough to run the place, and that's why they're there: its a halfway house for girls who are not terrifically sane, but aren't crazy enough to be locked up.

Not sure how Keitaro would fit in, in that scenario. There are possibilities, but nothing that jumps out at me as a great idea.

EDIT: forgot what thread I was in. Looping Keitaro could easily become a fully trained psychotherapist, if he wanted to, and he'd certainly have reason.

As he avoided SuÆs attack, Keitaro could hear Naru charging towards him, ready to deliver her infamous æNaru-kickÆ, just like she did during the first time.

Well, he was a bit older, a bit wiser now. He knew their attacks couldnÆt hurt him, and he didnÆt feel like hurting them back, because they saw the fact he was a Japanese male as proof enough that he was a pervert.

Well, using this would probably not help his case.

But damn it! He couldnÆt not use this technique, not after learning it!

And, quite frankly, he felt Naru sorta deserved this, karmicly speaking.

So, as her flying Naru-kick neared him, he rolled backwardsùhoping that the others would not see up his towel.

ôSU SEES HIS MAN-BANANA!ö

Well à there went that plan.

But, he could not stop now, for if he did, then the beating that would soon follow would be without meaning!

Fingers poised for his counter-attack, he thrust them, calling out the attackÆs name. ôKonohagakure Hiden Taijutsu ?gi: Sennen Goroshi!ö

As the towel-clad Tokyo-U hopeful took off skyward, Keitaro let off a smile. ôSo worth it,ö he replied, as the other girls slowly edged closer. If anything else, maybe it would keep them from constantly attacking him à or do it from a distance.

I thought that it was the AU promised girl Mizuho who had a trademark kick analogous to Naru's trademark punches, according to sources?

Thought I'd write another Naru-centric snippet just for the fun of it...

--

The karaoke duet of the pair continued as another song they had chosen began to play.

Gimme, Gimme, Gimme by Narada Michael Walden and Patti Austin was what people at the wedding reception were now receiving.

While the bridegroom didn't have the singing talent that the bride possessed., his efforts did endear the audience as he continued singing with her 'till the song was over.

Keitaro and Naru Urashima waved gratefully at the applauding audience who cheered and whistled.

"How about you take a rest, honey?" Naru said to her husband with a smile that made his heart skip a bit. "You look a bit exhausted."

"Yeah, even after all those rehearsals we went through I still get worn out so easily after just a few songs." Keitaro admitted as he tried to catch his breath and drank gratefully from the bottle of water she gave him.

Naru had become a producer for a studio belonging to a music company after graduating from the university where she had studied music and a quite successful one at that. Keitaro had decided on trying to become a doctor after getting into Tokyo University, which he managed in the end after having a few setbacks and successes.

Funny that she after doing a surprise performance during a concert, she had proposed to her boyfriend on live television after dragging him on stage and pushing the mike into his face and asking what his answer was. When he said yes the audience erupted into applause, cheering, whistling and waving. As an encore Naru did a cover of Tell It to My Heart by Taylor Dayne that made them even go wilder.

Too bad the other girls didn't take this news that very well. They tended to be that way when in time loops where they were more active and aggressive in their pursuit of Keitaro's heart and affections, and a real pain in the neck at that. It certainly was no walk in the park when competing with Mutsumi Otohime when she really got serious and wasn't keen on stepping aside for anyone û even if it was her. At least they were able of temporary alliances in order to counter whatever Motoko and Kanako came up with to tip the scales in their favour. Her best friend Mitsune, alias Kitsune, was starting to become a formidable rival with her romantic drinking buddy act (she even managed to reel in Keitaro in many earlier loops). Always having to prevent Su from shanghaiing Keitaro to Molmol was starting to give her some serious headaches that not even painkillers could dull. She remembered the times she had to go Modesty Blaise to extract Keitaro from the clutches of the fair Molmolian princess... sometimes even two when Kaolla wanted to share the clumsy manager with her sister Amalla. Early on she had learned not to underestimate Shinobu since she had developed a knack for worming herself into Keitaro's soft heart, but most of the time playing on Keitaro's intense fear of ending up behind bars for child molestation and statutory rape and ending up the prison bitch of some big-muscled, tattooed yakuza thug and being force to dine on cockroaches stuck in his food would put a stop to Shinobu's tricks (she felt a bit bad about doing that, but only a little).

You could never be too certain that the other girls would try to play wedding crashers, so this time she had drugged them, tied them up and locked them inside the underground tunnels under the Hinata-sou and replaced them with lifelike android copies during the entire wedding. She wasn't certain if Keitaro was on to her switcharoo scheme, but he didn't seem to have said that he noticed something weird like the Kaolla-bot petting and feeding Tama-chan without trying to eat her whatsoever when the opportunity arose.

She was about to ask her husband if he was up to another song now, but was interrupted by a thunderous detonation coming from underneath the inn-turned-dormitory, followed by others. The last explosion made a big hole in the ground û and out of it emerged Kanako Urashima, Motoko Aoyama, Kaolla Su, Shinobu Maehara and Mutsumi Otohime, all of them suppressing coughs while looking burnt and scorched a bit... and from the looks of it they weren't happy at all which was a serious understatement.

"Uh-oh!" Naru squeaked as goosebumps streaked over her back.

Slowly, methodically they strode towards her; their eyes not promising good things in the future.

"You're dead meat!" they all growled in perfect synchronization and prepared to charge her.

Naru Urashima acted swiftly by tearing off her long skirt and swung it around for momentum before she threw the large piece of fabric at them, obstructing their vision as well as distracting them.

Her husband quickly realized why she had chosen to wear tennis shoes during the entire wedding as he found himself yanked after her by his sleeve as she made for the stone stairs leading down from the Hinata-sou with the other girls hot on her trail and him trailing blood from his nostrils.

Arriving at their car, Naru opened the door and threw her now husband Keitaro into the drivers seat and slammed the door shut. Then she ran over to the other side and seated herself beside him on the adjacent seat.

"Step on it, darling!" Naru shouted.

He obliged to his wife's request naturally, seeing the burning fury in the eyes of the other girls who were rapidly approaching them.

The van they had inherited from Seta began swiftly to roll away from where it had so recently been parked.

"I hope the new engine we rigged into this car can make us outrun Motoko-chan," Keitaro shouted to her over the roar of the powerful car engine.

"But then again, maybe not," was Naru's deadpan comment as she looked behind her and saw the dust trail closing in on them.

"Do we still have the paint bucket we filled with oil in the back seat?" he queried anxiously, but still kept his eyes on the road.

"Good idea, Keitaro!"

Opening the side window of her door, Naru hurled the cylindrical missile on the road behind the van. Motoko Aoyama enraged as she was paid no heed to the oil slick and as a result lost her balance and crashed into a lamp post after sliding out of control.

"Ouch!" Naru winced in sympathy as she witnessed here handiwork. "That certainly has got to hurt!"

"No kidding, Naru," Keitaro added. "But where to now?"

"Gee, Hokkaido sounds like a nice place to visit now," Naru suggested with a smug smirk as they made their escape from town...

End song: No Lookin' Back by Kenny Loggins...

Keitaro blinked, he stood before Hinata-sou with a letter in his hand telling him to simply 'Come.' he looked behind himself and saw a mountain with four faces. His blinking returned, "There is no possible way this could be good."

Especially when the fourth face was Gendo Ikari.

Almost mechanically he marched forward. Granted he was somewhat, familiar with fused loops and other such types of odd loops, but this one rang danger bells. He was afraid his apparent immortality would ensure a long painful loop. A loop sure to pull at his sanity and while be interesting he was fearful at what he would find at the end of Girl's Dorm. A quick check of his appearance confirmed he was the right age, lacked any ninja gear, and wearing his normal clothing. This did nothing to reduce his worries.

He opened the door and there stood Sakura, the obviously looping Sakura Haruno. "Ahh there you are, I was almost worried that you wouldn't show. Ikari-sama said he would send for you."

"Umm where are Naruto and Sasuke?"

"In another loop it seems, let me introduce you too your... tenants." her pause didn't help to reduce his fear.

he was introduced to Rei, and Asaka from the Evangelion universe; The Tendo sisters, and the rest of Ranma's usual fiancees from Ranma's; The Sailor senshi which started worrying him about the lies the outside was showing him since it appeared to have several subfloors. As she continued a stark realization hit him, every single looping girl was here... ALL OF THEM, IN ONE HOUSE...

"By the way Keitaro." he looked at Sakura... "We convinced Gendo that his plans for capturing all the tailed beasts was not a good idea since Naruto was elsewhere and that a clan restoration policy would be a good idea... although you know it would never work between any of us."

Keitaro noticed whe was still grinning.

"Doesn't mean we can't try though..."

-o-

all the male loopers scattered around the multiverse shuddered for reasons they could only guess for, and were relatively correct.

--
Gendo was only added because as much as it would be unlikely that he would go along with this the 3rd would be less likely. Its in the Naruto universe as its the only universe that a possible way for the setup to work.

That has to be the fasted rocket sled to hell I can imagine. Especially with as diverse as the loops are. And every looping girl instead of just looping anchors...

God that means you have Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked, Meg Giri from Phantom of the Opera, Lina Inverse and I believe Naga the White Serpent from Slayers, pretty much EVERY Naruto girl (possibly even my psycho evil Kushina), the ones you listed, and I was thinking of starting a loop with Oz the Great and Powerful with Oscar and Theodora as the main loopers so you add Theodora too (two Wicked Witches of the West for the price of one!). All under one roof. Keitaro should be begging for a Hogwarts loop or an Eiken loop after this. It would seem like a vacation.

...Is simply killing himself to move to the next loop not an option? I mean, even Eiken pales in comparison to that.

What about Yaoi Futa-Eikan Twighlight? I thought it was established that that was the ultimate hell...

Well if he ended it early then the girls would likely follow him and end up as the Eikan club...

I've got an idea to make AJT's snippet were they all end up married on page 13 better, but for now the pseudo-return of cannibal Shinobu:

---------------------------

“Keitaro,” Su called out as she ran towards outside of Todai. “Trouble back at the dorm, Shinobu's had a bit of a relapse.”

“A bit of a relapse? What happened? And why hasn't the Loop reset if she's killed someone?” Asked Keitaro.

“She hasn't killed anyone yet, she over heard Naru, Mutsumi and Motoko arguing over who you would be having for dinner and she knocked them out, and well do you remember when we found out about Vorarephilia? Well she's 'slow roasting' the three of them at the moment.” Answered Su

Keitaro did indeed remember about Vorarephilia. Loopers with a lot of down time, like him these days, where avid consumers of entertainment just in case they wound up in those situations. After hearing a comment by a character in the British serries 'Keeping Up Appearances' they had decided to use the Kama Sutra as an 'owner's manual on women' resulting in a rather large to-do list. After they had finished that they started wondering what else they could do in bed, this had led them to discover a great many fetishes, including Vorarephilia and Vorarephilic porn. This had given them all nightmares wondering if Shinobu might go back to her cannibal phase near the start of the loops.

Apparently they were right to be worried. “Alright, Su, trying to explain things to the police won't work, so are there any Mol Mol security personal you can rustle up to help us out that won't ask too many questions?” Inquired Keitaro.

---------------------------

Vorarephilia is basically cannibalism resulting in sexual desire, or a sexual desire for cannibalism.

Vorarephilic porn is basically mock-ups of this, pretend.

For the love of god DO NOT Google this terms if you aren't prepared for some nasty stuff

Basically Shinobu is pretending to roast the fighting girls alive.

Am I the only one who thinks that having the Hina girls awakening to Keitaro during his violent breakdown phase would be a believable thing? Of all the loopers, Keitaro seems like the most likely to succumb to his variant of Sakura syndrome (Type K). http://thefanfictionforum.net/showthread.php?tid=14739&pid=679236#pid679236

Sure, he's kind and patient in his initial lifetime, but I'd imagine it'd only take him a few loops to snap initially. Hell Eiken loops would be a reprieve for this guy. Even after he realised they were awake, he probably be callous and openly hostile for hundreds if not thousands of loops afterwards, because after he snapped, he's got little to no real reason to forgive them. He wouldn't need them, after all, as the anchor he loops most often, therefore possessing far greater power whether it be spiritual, mental and physical. Sure, he's unstable, but wouldn't you be?

PCHeintz72

I do not think any of the loopers stable. Realistically, you could make all these same statements on say Shinji or Ranma. In fact, I know for sure Ranma did have a breakdown and lash out, and was against pretty much all the girls for quite some time.

"Psycho Keitaro" loops stopped being funny or clever a long, long time ago. Consign them to the ash-can of history, if you would be so kind?

Fair enough. Although Cold! Keitaro wouldn't be unbelievable. Once he's past the psychotic phase his tolerance for crap would be near non-existant.
