Man I'd like to see that continued

We've all seen them. A great fic that catches our attention. We get very interested in it, and what is happening. Then, just as it gets really interesting...bam! fic ends. Usually on a cliffhanger. I'll give an example:

Premise of the fic is Precia kills Yuuno in the first episode while he's in ferret form at the vet. She then ropes Nanoha into gathering the Jewel Seeds for her, giving Nanoha Raising Heart and is implied to have killed Fate, what with saying that she has an extra device that the previous owner doesn't need anymore. And Nanoha, being the kind, innocent girl that she is, eats it up.

Come to think of it, I actually just summed up the entire plot. Whoops. Aaaanyway...

It then cuts off right after. Why oh why didn't it continue? I would have paid money to read that. Not much (it's fanfiction), but then how often do you see FF writers actually get paid? NOTHING.

Anyway, I'm getting slightly off topic. List fics that you would like to see continued. Stories that are dead or near dead also qualify.

Mm. You're a step up from the usual troll we get at TFF. Usually they're failfags who abuse image macros. You seem to put some effort into it.

Now, don't be so harsh, trev-trev.

This thread is actually a fairly good idea: All of us have, at some point, found a shortfic that was too short, cut down before its prime by the vagaries of real life.

So yeah, a few "Don't you wish these were longer" links? Totally nice. They might spark one's imagination. (By blatantly filching neat ideas from deadfics)

Hm? How is this a troll thread? I am completely bewildered that this could be considered a troll thread. Did the meaning of troll change from the last time I checked?

Seriously, how is this a troll thread?

Edit: Waaait a minute. Your profile says "Officer in Charge of Trolling." Does that mean that you are a extreme troll that should be hated? Or does that mean you are trying to get rid of trolling?

I hope it's the latter, but I have a very bad feeling that it's the former.

Your fic? The one you were fapping to? Kills two thirds of the Season One Nanoha cast. Trollfic.

Your posts? The most recent ones I've seen were "LOL, I've never read Fate/Stay Night, but I'm going to require sauce on everything that I would know if I had, before you dare dislike this awesome Portal fic."

On an unrelated note, all trolling should come through my office - because Gin.

Are you saying because your avatar is a Gin pic, that makes you a troll?

More importantly, are you saying Gin Ichimaru is a troll?

Anyway, in an attempt to keep with the point of the OP in this non-troll thread, I shall answer:

A fic I really, really want to see more of? Ethan Rayne's Very Bad Day. There were great lulz to be had with Kenshin and Xander, much GAR to be found in Battousai doing pretty much anything involving swords, as well as the formation of a student body Shinsengumi.

But I could say the same of any Vathara fic.

To get back on topic, I would've like to seen Andrew Joshua Talon's <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6135758/1/No_More_Ninja' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>No More Ninja</a> updated. That one had a very interesting idea.

As another rec, I give you...<a href='http://http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5680544/1/bBleachbusters_b' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Bleachbusters!</a>

Despite the bad title, it was a cross between Bleach and Ghostbusters, as you can probably tell from the title. I think it had promise, but at only two chapters I can't be certain. It's been more than a years since the last update.

I don't think most oneshots could handle being written as regular series material, just on the basis of why they were written. I've requests to continue "Warrior of Heart," but after playing with it for a bit, Id seriously have to revise everything just to make it all feasible.

And there would be some kind of mystical time-traveling involved, so... :mellow:
