Akamatsuverse Mana's real identity?

I was rereading the Festival arc of Negima, and noticed something that I hadn't before.

On Mana's old pactio card, it reads her name as Mana Arcana. Is this an indication that she doesn't 'have' a last name, or was she simply going under it as a pseudonym? Also, if/when she pactio's Negi, what will the card say?

Probably been brought up before, but I thought I would mention it.

I've heard both that theory and that Arcana was a pseudonym, the name Mana's old mage partner knew her by - note that Asuna's last name isn't actually Kagurazaka, yet that's the name on her Pactio card.

Sorry to ruin the running gag...but yeah, this is what I assumed. Unless its an obscure cultural thing, she has "daughter of the Tatsumiya Shrine" in her description (and maybe Takamichi's year book? Can't remember) rather than "miko of blah blah." So she's probably like a ward.
