Real Mandarin confirmed for Shang Chi. Not surprised as it's been rumored for a while.

Nice to see Blade. Another not surprise though. I have to wonder if they're going to make the 90s movies canon and bring back Snipes in the role. That's been rumored to be the case.

I also wonder if Hawkeye is going to involve Kate Bishop taking over the role. Possibly not her literally, maybe his eldest daughter being basically the same character in everything but name though.

Hawkeye seems basically done with the whole superhero thing as of Endgame.

The only real surprise here is that Guardians 3 doesn't have a release date and it seems like we're getting a Thor movie first. I'm guessing it will be a Guardians 2.5 movie similar to how Civil War was Avengers 3.5.

What If...? Might be a good way to test the waters for where to put Deadpool and the X-men in the grand scheme of the MCU.

Mahershala Ali is confirmed to be playing Blade in the upcoming film. I don't know if even Marvel would be willing to hire Snipes, given the rumors of how the last shoots for the last 2 Blade films went down.

Of course, this is the same Marvel that hired RDJ when most people weren't willing to take a chance on him, so... who knows.

Uh, not really? Thor 4 is Valkyrie and Lady Thor/Jane Foster apparently.

How? Mjolnir was destroyed and the only known being with the knowledge to fix it was crippled and is presumably still located in some distant galaxy.

Not to mention it's not established that it was ever retrieved.

The intact one was taken back to its own timeline.

They're going to have to jump through some hoops for that one I guess, unless it's a multiverse thing.

I wonder if they're going to recast Jane? I kind of go the impression Portman was kind of done with the MCU and didn't like doing those movies much.

I mean, sure, they could just throw money at her, but I kind of got the vibe that she was more interested in roles that she enjoyed as an actor artistically more than the paycheck.

Lots of questions about that one and how it's going to work.

Maybe Lady Thor will be a time traveling daughter of Thor or something?

That would explain a casting change if there is going to be one, and it's not like they've been absolutely stuck on being direct adaptions or anything.

Nope, Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster and become the female Thor, like in the comics. It was announce at SDCC this past weekend.

I kind of laughed at the order of the listed projects.

What if..... Hawkeye?

Wonder if she'll manage a less Wooden Performance this time?

Given everyone else's performance sucked I don't fully blame her for that. The first two movies didn't have the best direction.
Given that Taika Waititi is coming back to direct, I imagine that it'll be a goofy yet fun Thor story.

Chris Hemsworth is going to be back as Thor, so we might see Valkyrie hit on Jane and Thor gets jealous? Maybe? It'd be a good laugh at the very least.

Taika Watiti's next movie seems interestingly weird...

That's Taika Watiti himself playing Hitler by the way.

Apparently it was Taika Watiti who got Portman back into the MCU.

She reportedly decided to return for the chance to work with him.

He convinced her to return after she publicly stated she was "done" with Marvel after Patty Jenkins was removed from the director's chair on Thor: The Dark World.
