Ok, after seeing so many slash pairing with Xander and Spike or Angel it popping up it made me think of this in defiance of them. The basic concept is that before or after the wedding mess, I can't really decide which, Dracula decided that Anya was all wrong for Xander. In fact, there isn't a woman in Sunnydale good enough for Dracula's servant, in the Dark Prince's humble opinion, and Dracula always takes care of his own.

The solution?

Dracula keeps sending over undead and demonic female servitors to "woo" Xander. Any female vampire, be it OC or a crossover character, as well as demonic women in the same vein are up for grabs here. The only limits are that they must be female, and they must want to actually make an attempt to know Xander, even if it's under Dracula's orders.

I leave this open for others to write in addition to my own attempts. Suggestions on females to make Xander's life either heaven or hell are most appreciated.

Seras, from Hellsing (unsubtle hint).

I appreciate the thought, but this is based on the in-canon version of Dracula. :p

Well, there's the obvious choice of Mina.

Or from crossovers, Mara from AMG. (Another unsubtle hint.)

Succubi, lots of succubi. And maybe Druscilla. The best thing about vampire chicks is that they don't have to breath.

I like the idea. I thought after the third series Xander kinda got shafted as Riley and Spike became the main focus and he was relegated from sorta organising a graduating class into fighting a horde of vampires to giving buffy peptalks occasionally and rooming with Spike. He could have developed and become cooler but new characters (or old ones suddenly becoming good) forced him to remain the lovable loser.

...

On a completely unrelated note, there's an owl outside my window and it won't stop fucking hooting! Piss off already! :lonegunman:

Take a closer look at it, maybe you've got a letter.

Xander cringed as the bell that signaled the opening of the door to the Magic box rang. Somehow, invariably, he knew it was going to be another "perfect girl" from his Master as some kind of gift to help him get over Anya. One that would make his life even more difficult and earn him much ribbing from his girls.

Well okay, even he had to admit that some of them were fun. Mina Harker, for all that she loathed Dracula personally and resented him managing to send her to meet Xander, was a delightful woman and they got along well. And the fact she was a stone-cold fox didn't hurt either. Granted there was a serious age gap, but for a woman that looked for all intents and purposes like a redheaded Peta Wilson, Xander could deal.

The coven of succubi that had all but declared him their new god after getting some girl-talk out of Anya was certainly an ego boost.

And let's face it, after the catching Spike and Ahn thing, Drusilla showing up to entertain "her Kitten" was worth it just for the look on the bleach blond's undead face. Doubly so when Dracula didn't have any kind of compulsion over the mad vampiress. All he did was discuss Xander's situation and mention that the boy was single, and Dru had come to offer her "condolences" at his failed wedding.

Hell, he still wasn't sure what species the green girl from last month was, but she was more than eager to play out some classic Trek fantasies with him that Xander was SURE the Master had suggested.

Yes, they were all fun in their own ways, but they were still troublesome, and they just kept coming. It seemed Dracula would not be happy until Xander had the perfect mate by the Master Vampire's definition. Or perhaps a harem. Who could tell with a man that had been under the captivity of a sultan for some of his formative human years?

Still as Xander looked at the haunting blond beauty that seemed to glide into the Magic Box while delicately carrying a rose in her pale hand Xander knew he was in for another round.

"Hello, my name is Rosa. Is there a Xander Harris here by any chance?" the woman asked in a delicately Romanian accented voice.

Xander tuned out whatever waspish response Anya made in reply, although he did notice the vein over her right eye looked about ready to burst, as he moved to greet his newest "suitor." It looked like it would be another one of those night on the Hellmouth.
