Meia x Hibiki April Fools Prank War

Right, so while I'm typing up Reverse Narcissism Chapter 3, here's something for you guys to chew on for the time being, just so I don't get bored from the lack of activity, ehehe. So; a Vandread pairing all too well known by the masses, and that some of us even wish would have happened over what canon joys were throttled our way. That's right, a Hibiki x Meia.

The twist with this pairing? It commences on April Fool's day, where Hibiki decides to spice things up a bit, being a bit restless from the minisculeaction he'd been getting from the forces of Earth. Hibiki plans to prank someone, and in the process of said prank, *ahem* accidentally violates Meia with... pudding. To the face!

It all snowballs from there into an all-out prank war, where sides are chosen and loyalties are tested beyond belief. There are five conditions.

1. Dita has to end up drenched in rotten bananas at some point.
2. Duero ends up developing a new fear of sorts due to a prank.
3. Hibiki is to end up naked at some point without realizing he is in such a state in public. It can be a prank or due to his own stupidity.
4. Meia must laugh. AND have a sense of humor, while remaining snarky.
5. The story ends with a "couple spat" and a "pie war".

I have no set length for this challenge, just have fun.

Always liked that pairing more than the Dita/Hibiki pairing.

Girl lived a hard life, and could use some loving.

Not sure if you're going to get much a response to this challenge though, as it seems very few people write any sort of vandread fiction.

Nope. The fandom's pretty much dead.

Anyways, as this is a funny (if now out of season) idea, I'd like to give this a try sometime. I'm not particularly good with comedy, though, so it'd be quite low on my priority list.

Yes. Well, kinda. Going by archaeological evidence from searching in FFnet, as well as my own experience with the fandom, it was somewhat active during its early years, then died, then revived for a while (this I got to experience, as it was the period when I first started writing), then died once more, this time apparently for good.

Yeah. the Vandread fandom was never big to begin with. And given how old the series is now, probably won't get any bigger unless they release a 3rd stage (which appears unlikely at this point).

Which is further unfortunate since, what little is there, are usually Dita/Hibiki. Not a fan of said pairing. The few Meia/Hibiki fics are, either unfinished, or not that good.

Pretty much. Hell, the only complete, decent lenght Hibiki/Meia fic I've managed to find looks like it was written by a hardcore GOP supporter when Bush was in his prime, right down to Hibiki and Meia encountering and befriending a bunch of OCs who just happened to be the oh-so-Christian and Patriotic successors of the US. In space.
