"Men's Night Out"

A group people are sitting in a student bar, drinking soda, and playing poker with rice crackers, when, as all men do, they start talking about their love lives, lack thereof, or excessiveness thereof.

The group includes:

*Keiichi Morisato

*Keitaro Urashima

*Ranma Saotome

*Negi Springfield, who is casting odd looks at Ranma, thinking he might be related to one of his students.

*and Spike, who is playing Banker.

Listening in all the while, as the group banter, is Urd, who is both keeping an eye on Keiichi for Belldandy, and plotting to help the groups' individual love-lives as she tends the bar.

Any other characters can be added at the author's discrection. Let the madness begin...

Xander would definetly fit. he's the loser with relationship problems. he's dated demons, slayers, future higher beings, made out with a witch, had his wedding interupted by a demon pretending to be him, and lost his ex-fiance a little while after they got back together again if I remember right.

I've liked them, though neither one that I can recall are lemons. The one was 'A Cup Of Coffee' by BGlanders, can't think of the name of the other one though. And I'm not counting the ones with Ranma/Ryoko in a bar.

There was also a related themed one where those characters were all distantly related and inubuses, it was on FanFiction.NET in the love hina section, though I thought it crap, no clue if it is still there.

The issue with this setup is when in their respective canon's this takes place. Also, while I could see the coincidence of The others being in same bar, a good backstory should be given how someone form California would be in a Japanese bar.

Also, how much is Urd to know? And is her presence known to them (even if they do not know what she is), or is she hiding and or chibified.

A variation on this could have them all drunk and wake up next morning, having all slept with Urd.

It's pretty much established that Xander isn't limited to one continent when he's looking for new slayers. Getting him to Japan isn't that difficult.

Cowboy Bebop Spike's relationship problems wouldn't fit in with the "theme" of problems the rest of the group have, though.

IIRC, Spike was betrayed by his girlfriend (alright, she was forced to betray him) which ended in him almost getting killed. (Though Spike is quasi-indestructible, he can be hurt, but not killed. That's why Spike survived the final confrontation with Vicious in my interpretation ) And when he finds his girlfriend again, she gets shot and dies in his arms. That's a lot more tragic than anything the rest have to deal with.

I'm excluding Buffy characters from this, the show and the characters suck imo.

I mean... it's not like you can throw in either Manaka Junpei from Ichigo 100% or Chiry Shingo from Girls Saurus >.>

Shingo would be great, especially if Negi gets some weird ass ideas from him. He could take the place of Spike, since he is the guy who would likely set up something like this. After all, he fears women, but he still wants to get into a relationship one day. Hearing horror stories and how bad other people have it would help him, at least that would be his idea.

Tenchi had a screwed up relationship dynamic but his relationships didn't really matter in the end because if they wanted all of the girls could have gotten him.
