In a recently translated Q&A with Akamatsu, it was recently revealed that Negima (as theorized for some time) is set in the same world as the Love Hina series. Also, two background figures in a flashback were Motoko and her sister.

Though that those who are more into Love Hina than Negima might be interested in this piece of info.

I don't think this really changes much. I mean, everyone pretty much assumed this already. Now it's just official.

It's also suposed to take place in the same universe as "A.I. Love You".

Also, Ground Defense Force Mao-chan is part of the same universe, a couple of years in the future.

... the Akamatsuverse is an interesting place to live, isn't it?

There's an episode in Mao-chan where the main characters go on a vacation and stay in Hinata Sou. Naru appears as the manager's wife, and is in charge of the inn while her "pervert husband" is away.
