Yeah, I can never leave well enough alone.  Especially when I can put Loki into something he doesn't fit in and try to make it work.  My first thought was Descendants with him filling in for one of the two major missing fathers, probably Evie's.  Then I got to thinking.  Loki is known mostly for illusions, shape shifting, and general WTF levels of magic, including conjuring fire.  He's also known for actually being a Jotunn.  Two different Disney women immediately come to mind that could fit those molds: Maleficent and Elsa.

Basic premise is the Loki has bee escaping to the Realm where Auradon is located off and on for years.  He's fathered two different kids there over the years in two different periods.  The first was Maleficent, whose mother was a tree fairy similar to a dryad.  As dryads have no real concept of monogamy or long term relationships she had no problem with Loki having to return to Asgard, lest the Allfather discover his new daughter.  Maleficent's mother dies and things progress as we've seen in the Maleficent movie with her raising herself in the Moors.

Next comes Elsa's father, who was a son of Loki that knew who his father was but, being raised a Christian noble, was terrified of his own abilities and never used them.  That's where he got his "conceal don't feel" mantra from that he forced on Elsa.  He had been living it and hiding from himself his whole life.  That means Anna and Elsa both are Loki's granddaughters and thus Maleficent's nieces.

Now take it into the one realm where they can all mix successfully (barring Once Upon a Time and its very strange continuity) and place them in the Realm of Auradon from Descendants.  Put the timeframe sometime after The Dark World with Odin waking up from the Odinsleep with Loki handing him Gungnir and telling him "I tried to give it to Thor and he refused so I kept the Nine Realms running for you until you woke up for Frigga's sake.  We're even and I'm out of here."  You have Loki leaving Asgard for what is now present day Auradon to check in on his remaining free family members.  He spends time with Anna and Elsa in Arrendale (which was not part of the United States of Auradon according to the map and thus still it's own country) and learns what happened with Maleficent that gets her turned in to a bearded dragon lizard.  Cue Loki changing what should have been a short visit to check in on his kids and grandkids into trying to figure out what was going on with his daughter.

And things really pick up when Thor and Sif arrive to bring Loki back "home" because Odin can never leave well enough alone.  Just because Loki did the right thing does not mean the Allfather has the sense to let him live his own life.

So, thoughts?  Comments?  You got my Cheeze Whiz boy?

Yeah so I went ahead and started this one too.  https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11469353/1/Mischief-in-my-Blood

Well, since we're talking about Loki and gods fathering children let's talk about another fatherless child.....Anakin Skywalker

Wait hear me out!

All right so Loki and Verity are taking a vacation through the multiverse during 'Secret Wars' when Loki runs across a recently pregnant Shimi Skywalker who claims there was no father for her child. Smelling a rat, Loki investigates and learns that Zeus, once again, pulled one of is 'Shower Tricks' to knock Shimi up which is why she thinks there's no father. Taking a look at the timeline, Loki realize that Hera, wanting to REALLY hurt Zeus this time, sets Anakin up for a fall by ensuring he's trained by Kenobi (She's the one that made Sure Kenobi and Ginn were separated during the fight with maul. That Palpatine was allowed to spend a significant portion of time mentoring the young Skywalker, that Shimi was captured by Sandpeople When Anakin was most vulnerable, and even Ashoka leaving the order after Bariss Betrayal. Having an issue with Destiny in general and Hera's meddling in particular Loki decides to intervene in his own special way.

Another idea I mentioned before, was Kid Loki taking the role of Beast Boy (Teen Titans had a movie Trouble in Tokyo so it counts!) in a quest to get Raven to unlock his full power (similar to the plot he had in Young Avengers) here though it get's derails by him actually falling in love with Raven through their many adventures together. Even after the real Beast Boys return, Garths feelings for Terra make the the contest for Raven's heart anyone's game.

Another idea, Loki is the father or Grand father to Evangelin McDowell....which is WHY she has such a knack for ice magic. Which leads to him getting involved in his descendants life during the events of UQ Holder. Not sure where to go with this...though the idea of Loki being Dana the Time witch or the one who encouraged her to train Kitty and Tota appeals to me.

Finally...a LOT of Disney characters have missing Parents....so let's say that's because most of their parents were gods from one pantheon or another. At some point the various gods start using their spawn as pawns in a game. One Loki get's dragged into when his own child, the Keyblade Master Riku is forced to travel from world to world trying to quell the unrest caused by these conflicts.

Here's a funny idea, a Star Wars / Detective Conan crossover.

There was a murder inside the Mos Isley Cantina. A bounty hunter named Greedo was shot dead by a smuggler named Han Solo. The smuggler was arrested for cold blooded murder, but he claims that Greedo shot first and he fired back in self defense. The few witnesses there were contradict each other and the footage of the surveillance cameras is not very clear. There are even rumors that someone tempered with the cameras and changed the original footage.

The stormtroopers don't have a clue and so they call in the only person who might be able to get to the bottom of this; the Universe's best private detective, a child called Conan Edogawa. It's now up to this young boy to find an answer to the most important question in the world: who shot first?

Die Hard/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

In which a group of thieves masquerading as terrorists attempt to take over and ransom Willy Wonka's chocolate factory on the day of the Golden Ticket tour...only to end up getting far more than they ever would've bargained for...

The potential for Home Alone style shenanigans on top of the normal hazards of the factory would be great. Instead of McClaine messing up their plans and having them frantically adapt, it'd be the weirdness inside the factory. The fact they couldn't come in completely prepared with a plan would make them a weaker threat than in Die Hard, however.

A fun Crack! idea that tries to take itself serious set in the MCU.
It turns out that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are Peter Parker's biological parents, the main problem though is Pepper has never been pregnant.

Here's an idea, and I'm sorry for the double post.

The MCU as we know it is vast with a nice set timeline, where the older movies feed into the newer ones such as Spider-Man Far From Home having ties with the first Iron Man. My mind started to wander and I began thinking, "What if the timeline of events were different from what we see?"

My main example (though not my last,) what if Peter Parker was ten years older in the timeline? Mind, he is still bitten at 14, a whole six months before the events of Civil War in cannon. So here we have a Spider-Man who's been around longer than Iron Man. What would his first major confrontation be? It probably wouldn't be the Vulture, who started his entire crime empire based on the events of the first Avengers. Just to not add a whole plethora of OC's and to keep Ned and Michelle in cannon, I would have them be the same age as Peter, mostly due to their nice dynamic in the movies. How would the world react to Spider-Man being the first public Superhero?

My second example, what if Captain America was discovered anywhere from 1-10 years earlier? What would change in the world?

Please keep in mind that I'm a major Spider-Man fanboy, hence why I'm so fixated on him.
Please tell me your thoughts and lets workshop this!

Good news and bad.

This meme has inspired(?) me to take a crack a Star Wars fic. I will be attempting some kind of rewrite of the Prequels with my usualy finesse.

I do have an outline for it, if all goes to plan(?), it should be 22 chapters.

I don't yet have a title, but I do have 1.5k words of the first draft of chapter 1 already written today.

A brief teaser for this new fic idea.

It skims over most of the events of The Phantom Menace, and will cover most of Attack of the Clones, but there will be some deviation from canon.

It was an incredibly corny line, one that Padmé Amidala had only heard in holovids; and not particularly good holovids, either. The young Queen could imagine that more unsavoury types would use it to attempt to flatter or even seduce a young woman with such obsequious compliments.

But there was something endearing about hearing a young slave boy from the Outer Rim ask her that question. It had been an innocent question, as someone of his pre-teen years wouldn’t think about girls as little more than friends who had slightly different bodies. Had the boy been the same age as Obi-Wan Kenobi, it would have been flirtation or tinged with mockery.

Padmé looked over at the blonde boy. He’d started to shiver, clearly not used to the cooler temperatures of the spaceship. She picked up a blanket and draped it over his shoulders.

“Here,” she smiled. “This should help keep you warm.”

“Thank you,” Anakin smiled. He was taken by how pretty she was; much prettier than most of the girls in Mos Espa. Only a few of the girls who were in Jabba the Hutt’s entourage were prettier, and even then, he hadn’t ever been able to get that good of a look at them. His mother had insisted that he stay far away from the people who associated with Hutts, and for good reason.

The Hutts had a well deserved reputation for intimidation, bribery and violence. So much so, that the Galactic Republic had been unable to enforce its anti-slavery laws. Its currency wasn’t even accepted out here on the Outer Rim.

Anakin sighed. He’d wanted to bring his mother with him to Coruscant, but Watto wouldn’t agree to the deal. Leaving their life behind, albeit one of a slave, was a big decision for anyone. That he was nine years old, made everything seem so much more scary.

“Don’t worry, Ani, you’ll be fine once we get to Coruscant,” Padmé smiled reassuringly.

“Yeah…” the blonde boy nodded. The blanket had helped a little, but he still felt that space travel was odd.

Things were going from bad to worse for Padmé Amidala. Her plan to petition the Galactic Senate to act against the Trade Federation had been squashed as a case of her word against theirs.

That the Trade Federation likely had other senators in their pocket never seemed to occur to the Chancellor.

Chancellor Finis Valorum had, instead, suggested that Queen Amidala petition the Galactic Courts to intervene on behalf of Naboo.

‘The Courts?’ Padmé thought bitterly. “The Courts take even longer to resolve things than the Senate! If the Chancellor will not act on this grave matter, then I must take action.”

There were murmurings amongst the other senators, causing one of the Chancellor’s aides to call for order in the Senate.

“It brings me no pleasure to do this, but if this body is not capable of action, I suggest new leadership is needed. I move for a Vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Valorum's leadership.”

The Senate erupted, with many of the senators protesting that it was improper and that Chancellor Valorum was doing an excellent job. However, even more were agreeing with Padmé and taking the opportunity to voice their displeasure at the inefficiency of the incumbent Chancellor.

“And so,” Sheev Palpatine said privately to Padmé, “We shall see how much the Senate desires a change in leadership.”

“Yes,” Padmé nodded, though her stomach was tightening. Had she done the right thing? Had she just thrown her people into a war they weren’t ready for?

The Jedi Council was not happy with Qui-Gon Jinn’s request to train Anakin Skywalker. Even at nine years old, the boy was much older than the other candidates.

Traditionally, though it did vary from species to species, Jedi were selected for training at the age of three to five years old, when their minds were at their freest. The best candidates were those with the highest Midicholorian counts and the fewest preconceptions.

There was no doubting that Anakin’s Midichlorian count was high, higher than any in the last thousand years of records. The problem was with his mind.

Master Yoda had sensed much fear in the young boy. While it was natural for someone to feel intimidated by such scrutiny on an alien world, there was more to it than that.

“Dwell upon your mother, your thoughts do,” the green Jedi commented.

“I… I guess,” Anakin shrugged.

“Betray you, they do. Fear you feel.”

“It’s more cold,” the boy answered, faking a bravado that he hoped his inquisitors wanted to hear. He did feel cold and wondered if he’d ever get used to environments other than the harsh desert of Tatooine.

“Fear is the path that leads to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering,” Yoda replied. He glanced over to Mace Windu, who shook his head. “Leave us, please. We must discuss things with Master Qui-Gon.”

Obi-Wan escorted Anakin to the door to the Jedi Council and stood guard.

“The boy is strong with the Force,” Mace Windu commented.

“You know of the prophecy to bring balance to the Force.”

“And you believe it’s this boy?” the black Jedi asked, tilting his head to his left.

“I do. Anakin is the Chosen One,” Qui-Gon insisted. “Will you train him?”

“No,” Mace replied.

“What? He is the Chosen One!”

“Too old, he is,” Yoda said dismissing the idea of training the boy from Tatooine.

“Then I will train him myself,” Qui-Gon stated.

Mace Windu and Ki-Adi-Mundi shook their heads. Why did Qui-Gon Jinn have to be such a stubborn maverick? If he wasn’t so skilled, steps would have been taken to shuffle him off to a more second line role long ago.

“Then do so,” the green Jedi sighed. Like the rest of the Council, he disliked Qui-Gon’s frequently intransigent attitude.

Qui-Gon bowed and left the Council chamber, Obi-Wan following him closely.

“The boy is dangerous, the Council all see it, why can’t you?” the apprentice asked as they made their way from the Temple.

“I made a promise to him,” Qui-Gon answered. He signalled to Anakin. “Come with us, Ani. We’re going on a trip.”

“We are?”

“Yes,” the Jedi Master nodded. “We’re going with Queen Amidala back to Naboo.”

Obi-Wan frowned. “We can’t fight a war for her, you said so yourself.”

“True, but with the Force, we can free Naboo from the Trade Federation.”

Qui-Gon was true to his word. He, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker had defeated the Trade Federation, but at a great cost.

Obi-Wan Kenobi struggled to keep his emotions in check as cradled the body of his Master.

“T-the boy… He is the Chosen One… You… You must train him…” the dying man gasped.

“I will, Master, I will…” the Padawan said, tears trickling down his face as he felt the life drain from his mentor.

Obi Wan picked up Qui-Gon’s body and carried away from the reactor room. On his walk, he encountered Captain Panaka.

The Naboo officer saw that the Jedi had been killed by the mysterious warrior. “I… I’m sorry for your loss, Obi-Wan.”

“Thank you,” the Padawan smiled weakly. “I… I’ll need to get to a communication room.”

“Of course,” Panaka nodded. “We… We have the facilities for preparing your friend.”

“Yes, we need to…” Obi-Wan trailed off. “Take me to the morgue.”

Padmé Amidala looked at the smiling young boy from Tatooine. Anakin looked cute in his Padawan robes.

The Queen’s heart felt heavy when she realised that although his new life would be filled with exciting adventures, the life of a Jedi and the size of the galaxy meant that she would be unlikely to ever see him again.

Even if he survived the many years of hard training, Anakin would be sent on dangerous missions. Qui-Gon Jinn’s mission to Naboo was proof that even the most seemingly innocuous of missions could still end in death.

An entourage approached Padmé, led by Sheev Palpatine.

“I hear congratulations are in order, Chancellor Palpatine,” Padmé greeted with a polite bow.

“A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one,” the newly elected Chancellor smiled humbly. He looked down at the young boy. “And you, Young Skywalker, I shall be watching your career with great interest.”

“T-thank you, Sir,” Anakin replied nervously.

Idea, since it would never actually be made as a film. I was thinking of something like a slasher villains battle royale, much bigger than just Freddy Krueger vs Jason Vorhees. Bigger. Imagine the chaos of setting Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, Michael Myers, eh and maybe Jack Frost or Pinhead (does he even count?), all set in New York City or whatever. They fight each other even as they rack up an insane citizen body count. Meanwhile, in the background, Death from Final Destination is setting a grand plan in motion...
