I have been on a Lilo and Stitch kick recently, so I thought I might as well spur interest with a few ideas.

Firstly, a Stitch/MLP:FIM crossover... basicly, its an AU of Stitch! (For those wondering, Stitch falls off the wagon a few years after the events of Leroy and Stitch, and in the movie, crashes back to earth and has to do good deeds as indicated by a armband which is attatched to him. He partners up with a new Girl, Yuna, and the other regulars of the original shows make some appearences... except for Lilo and family, Lilo having shown up in a single episode, now Nami's age at least, with her own daughter)

Essentially, the idea is, instead of landing down on Earth after he falls off the wagon, Stitch lands on Equestria, still getting the armband regardless, but finding himself being taught the ways of friendship and Ohana that he had forgotten... and it doesn't help when Hamsterviel decides to take advantadge of this previously thought to be uninhabited planet.

And of course, Stitch drives the mane six nuts in the mean time.

Another is a quite... uncommon crossover, I have to say. Lilo and Stitch with... Ben 10. The expanded Ben 10 universe seems like it could mesh well with Lilo and Stitch's, and it could create some character development, perhaps some rivalry shown in scientific fields by Azmuth and Jumba, and Stitch, his cousins, Jumba, Pleakly and Gantu are all technicly on the planet without Plumber authorization... and while Jumba and Pleakly might get left off the hook as they are there to observe Stitch, and Stitch gets a full pass due to being in "exile", the other experiments are in more muddy rulings.

And finally, a simple Lilo and Stitch pair. The first is that Lilo gets kidnapped... but no-one, even Gantu who for once is innocent on the matter, knows where she is. The fic would explore the characters personalities, Nami trying not to break down at the loss of her sister, Stitch franticly searching to the point of stretching himself to his limits, Jumba worried about both Lilo and Stitch, the latter more so because nothing HAS stretched Stitch that far before, etc.

The flipside is that Stitch is kidnapped, by Gantu or by something else, and either is simmilar to the one above, or is, for the most part, more of a POV ficl, focusing on Stitch as he tries to escape his captivity, his thoughts on the others, and his possible escapes/rescue attempts... or if you want to go darker... a failed rescue attempt that ends up gravely injuring/killing Lilo

Sorry for the Doublepost, but new idea, new day, new post.

Anyway, this one is a My Little Pony crossover, with... Power Rangers Wild Force (Gaoranger might work, but I've never seen it). Basicly, one of the WF Rangers (Cole prefferibly) gets sent into Equestria, looking for the lost pony zord/s, as a new org has proven invulnerable to every other formation. The problem is that not only does no-one know if the pony zord is a singular one or multiple or what it looks like outside of the shape, but the zord/s ran away during the final battle, hiding in Equestria, disguising itself as a young pony over the years, only Celestia knowing it for who she/they really is/are. And while all this is happening, Discord's stone casing is starting to fracture...

Essentially, the ranger in question (again, Cole prefered) thinks that they were sent to the wrong place and try working with the Mane 6 to find a way back... but in the process, whatever device they were using goes off, identifying one of the 6 as the Pony Zord.... and when Discord breaks free once more... then things get serious, Cole having to re-fight old foes, dark powers threatening to destroy Ponyville, and all the while the Pony Zord/s identity/ies is/are revealed, but will it be enough, combined with whatever zords Cole can use, to beat back Discord and get home in time to save the other rangers? And when all is said and done, will they leave behind their life in Ponyville, their friends?

Now, as for who the pony zord is/are... well, thats a variable. Up to 3 of the Mane 6 are possible for being the pony zord (magic and disguises explaining away familial relations). As for what power eavch has... well that can vary depending on who is a zord, and what position they take in a Megazord. Possible examples include....

Applejack: Legs were the only position I could think of here, forming up a entaur Megaord, increasing speed and giving a powerful hindquarter kick. Can also be used with the Armidillo Zord for a strong ranged finisher.

Pinkie: Arm - Pinkie converts into a cannon arm... more specifcally, a party canon, capable of shooting destructive, if festive, blasts. Can be used with various zords for different finishers, or simply a finisher on her own.

Body - Essentiially, Pinkie forms the Torso and Head (or if used with the Lion Zord, just the head) of the resulting Megazord, giving it essentially a "Spider Sense" like ability, battle based foresight. No finishers by itself. Any Megazord using this is referred to as a Party Megazord

Rainbow Dash: Body - Full body this time, essentially allows flight at a swifter pace than the Isis Megazord, while not having the other advantadges of the Isis Megazord. Referred to as a Dash Megazord, or Rainboom Megazord. Has its own finisher too

Arm - Rainboom Cannon, essentially simillar to the Bear brothers, exxcept instead of Ice or Fire Beams, these are explosive rainbow laser beams.

And so on and so forth. Thoughts? And yes, I plan to actually write this. Even have finishers planned for Fluttershy, Applejack and double zord - Rarity and Twilight endings

Okay, time for some Old School here. First, let's take things back all the way to Batman: the Animated Series. Now, remember Harley's Holiday? The one where our favorite hench wench got paroled from Arkham and had the mother of all bad days while trying to go straight? Even Batman thought she was trying to do right this time. Heck, even Scarecrow was being nice to her and Ivy looked pleasantly amused when she frenched Batman (better him than the Joker, I guess). Then, it's like it never happened as she became a part time Joker girl and part time Ivy sidekick again.

Well, what if she actually did decide to do right there? What if she left Mistah J behind and thus wasn't there to help with things like kidnapping Robin? Of course, this is still Harley, who is obsessive by nature and prone to making quick attachments. Would she latch on to Batman now that she knows he really is a nice guy under the cape? Would he become her moral compass?

And there is another factor to consider here. Harley made another unlikely friend that day by the name of Veronica Vreeland. As in the rich heiress that knew Bruce well enough that he let her take him out shopping AND she felt comfortable enough with him to tease him about Alfred. There has never been anything in series that indicated that 'Ronnie was romantically pursuing "Brucie." If anything, she gave off the Old Money childhood friend vibe. Like they were sitting together at the kids table at parties all the way back when Thomas and Martha were still alive. Now, if she takes an interest in helping Harley (hey if she could get to like Penguin she has a heart of gold to match her pocketbook) she might bring her around with her when she's with her more tolerant of friends. Nobody is less offensive than Bruce.

So, you could have Harley pursuing Batman, Ronnie trying to set her up with Bruce, and Bruce trying to avoid the whole thing in and out of costume where he can. Thoughts?

Oooh... very nice idea. I always wondered what would happen if Harley was able to restrain herself enough to set herself straight.

I also had an Elseworld/offshoot idea where Harley latched on to Batman that first night in Mad Love instead of the Joker. Given her intelligence, however well concealed sometimes, and obsessive nature she could come to deduce Bruce's identity. She might be the only woman that would not leave him no matter how moody he gets. She's as loyal as Talia without the daddy issues getting in the way, after all. Imagine a future where the DD's are Bruce's grandkids instead of being Jokerz terrorizing the streets.

It's a solid concept that should derail a LOT of later Batman TAS storylines, since that incident occurs so early in the series. Now the Joker's territorial, so I doubt he'll be happy about this at all and will try to make Harley's life miserable (or win her back in his own twisted way). If Harly actually makes Batman laugh, Joker will be furious and all bets are off at that point.

Not sure which way Ivy will jump. Batman foils her plans a lot, but you could see her as having a kind of respect for him. He is protecting his own 'babies' (in the people of Gotham) and he'd be better for her little sister than the Joker. Still I doubt she'd really want to lose Harley and that's what will happen if she ges straight.

Or maybe Harley could try and push her to just doing the good-guy business instead. Less lucrative, yeah, but she could make patents off some of her plant hybrids and any genetics lab worth their salt would dig into their coffers enough to make up the difference. Or grants for her research, or a...wealthy benefactor who could help her cure cancer or any disease you can think of. *grins at Bruce, who could get a chance at double fun*

If she goes good guy, she may not be as untouchable as Bats but she'd could take pretty much everyone else. Especially Joker if he got caught trying to kill Harley.

EDIT: And on the note that Harley is such a well-loved member of the villian's gallery, why not an idea based on that? I remember there being an episode of Batman TAS that had Joker pushing her out of a window after she'd gotten Batman on the both literal and figurative ropes without Joker even knowing. Why not something about the criminal element turning on Joker for that? Harley's friends with just about everyone, and grudgingly acknowledged by the rest, and I can imagine either a hit being put on him or a simple unanimous decision that for putting her in the hospital, he'd get sent to the morgue.

Don't forget that canonically Ivy went straight in her own way. The green-skinned Ivy from the later series was not the real one. The real Ivy set up the whole mess with the fake marriage to Dick's former professor as a way of covering her tracks and replacing herself with a plant clone so she could live in peace without the Bat checking up on her. According the the comics related to B:tAS, she's living peacefully with Alec Holland (aka Swamp Thing) somewhere far away from Gotham.

Here she might not bother with the subterfuge.

As for the good guy business, keep in mind that Ivy thought she was the good guy. It was those plant killing bastards hurting her babies that were evil.

The problem is twofold. First, you have to remember that these people have motivations influenced by their insanity. It's not an issue of right or wrong. It's an issue of caring to do what other people think is right or wrong. The other problem is dating the Bat but not Bruce. The simple answer is to fully retire and date Bruce.

Is there an episode of the cartoons where that happens (or is referenced), or is it BtAS-comic-only?

It's tie-in comic only. After the green-skinned Ivy's last appearance in the series, which I think was the Christmas episode where she and Harley kidnapped Bruce for a shopping spree, she showed up on the real Ivy's doorstep and melted before saying anything. Then the real Ivy and Alec speculated on how she lasted so long and what she had done before basically coming home to die. Ivy even said something to the effect that she hoped the clone hadn't caused too much trouble.

Just a look into the future. This may or may not be set around when Tim would have been caught during RotJ in canon.

It was all Harley could do not to throw up in her mouth as she sat at Ronnie's bedside and watched the woman's heart monitor continue with its steady beat. She knew retiring like she had could cause problems someday. She just never imagined that Pudd- no. That Mistah-NO! That the goddamned Joker would strike at the Vreeland Heiress and her family instead of her. Now, General Vreeland was dead, god rest the tank-driving psychopath's soul, Ronnie was in a coma, and poor little Bunny was being watched by Timmy since Bruce's family were the only ones Harley could trust to keep Veronica's one-year old daughter safe.

Some would argue that she was showing some of her old kind of crazy trusting Bruce Wayne's youngest adopted son to keep a helpless child safe from someone like the Joker. Those same people didn't know the Wayne family like she did.

For instance, most would have been shocked by the silent appearance of "Brucie," as Veronica had called him since they were kids, by Harley's side. It was a demonstration of how upset he was that he didn't try to make noise in his civilian attire.

"You know where he is?" Harkey asked in a dead monotone.

"Who?" Bruce asked in a somber whisper.

"Don't try to play me now, Bats. Ronnie could ignore a lot of things for the sake of her own piece ah mind. Me, not so much. If there was one thing living with him taught me, other than how ta' take a punch, it was how to ignore what you know and look at what's there," Harley spat as she tried to hold back her tears.

"How long have you known?" Bruce asked, his voice dropping into the hoarse whisper of the Bat. He long suspected Harley had deduced the truth, and at this point he was too tired to keep up the game either.

"A few years. Things Ronnie would talk about when she was frettin' over you in private started to click after a while. Then I got to looking at things I tried to ignore. Things like why your chin of all things seemed familiar to me. The fact you seemed almost as good as me at hidin' the fact ya' had a brain in your head. By the time I was sure, I knew enough to keep my fat trap shut. All talkin' would do is hurt the people you could help," Harley responded.

Bruce remained stoically silent in response to her explanation.

"Now do ya' know where he is yet?" Harley asked with a touch of venom in her tone.

"I will soon," Bruce replied. "And no, you're not coming."

"Who-" Harley started to demand, only to be cut off as Bruce raised his hand to forestall her tirade.

"No matter what happens, you'll only hurt yourself in this, Harley. You'll kill him, or he'll kill you. Or worse yet, he tries something to break you worse than before. No matter what, you'll be shattered and Ronnie will suffer losing you. She's lost enough already tonight," Bruce explained.

Angry tears fell from Harley's eyes as she tried to find some kind of denial for what she had been told, but could not find one.

"Trust me Harley, Vengeance won't help you. Not now," Bruce added softly as he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"You're ah fine one ta' talk," Harley muttered.

"If anything, I'm living proof that it's true. The last thing the world needs is another me," Batman replied as he withdrew his hand. "Watch over her. Keep her safe. Be there when she wakes up. I'll make sure the Joker is stopped."

By the time Harley managed to glance over to where Bruce had been there was nothing but empty space and darkness there to greet her. She shook her head ruefully as she replied, "That's one thing you're wrong about. The world needs more nice guys like you around. It's the ones like him we need less of."

an extremely basic idea i just had while watching king of the hill

In the episode The Bluegrass is always greener Connie sick of the way her father and Hank are pushing her (and by extension Hanks treatment of Bobby through out the episode) decide to run away to Appalachia.

the episode they end up only having enough money for either some tshirts or a row of seats for the Andy William show

in the universe of this idea they still dont have enough to get to Appalachia but they do have enough to get to a destination that isnt there.

What i have come up while writing this would have this story be of a split focus the first plot would follow Bobby and Connie on their journey ( with something of a moonrise kingdom vibe) While the second plot would chronicle the Souphanousinphones and Hills hunt for their missing children with the trauma of the situation serving to help both families understand what it is that caused their kids to run away.

Twilight, Apple Jack and Rarity stood at the highest point in CelestiaÆs castle. Below the Canterlot guard under the direction of Shining Armor along with the Wonderbolts tried to stem the tide of the summoned Kobolds.á Above them, an Airship christened æThe Great and PowerfulÆ hovered, disgorging more and more Kobolds, forcing the three friends to fight their way through them.

AJ charged into the fray knocking aside Kobolds, her hind legs flashing left and right as she sent them sailing. RarityÆs employed her fine control of telekinesis to keep a whirling shield of cutlery and heavy objects around herself and her friends, smashing and slashing into the Kobolds. Twilight stalked forward horn aglow, unrelenting force slamming into the monsters, bowling them over in groups.

Rarity glared in distaste at the horde before her as she addressed her friends ôWas there a plan here darlings?ö she turned up her nose, as she sent a pair of scissors into the calf of a charging Kobold, bone deep. The screeching creature tripped, striking several of its companions and taking them all down.

Twilight raised her horn high, and gravity shifted beneath the horde, up becoming down. ôFight through the minor threats until we get TrixieÆs attention.ö Then she shifted it again, slamming the Kobolds down with bone shattering force.

Rarity snorted as her dancing blades cut a Kobold to pieces ôWith everything going on, IÆll bet she never even notices us.ö

As if to prove her wrong, the Airships spot light centered on the three friends as the Kobolds shrank back. A lone pony wreathed in lightening, and eyes dancing with a hot fire light slowly descended from the Airship via her magic.

AJ smirked ôRarityàyouÆre on.ö

Twilight glared ôIÆll take some of that action.ö

The Great and Powerful Trixie took an imperious step forward after landing on the roof of the palace. ôI hope you appreciate, Twilight Sparkle, that everything that has occurred is on YOUÆRE head.ö The one time charlatan turned demi-god glared at her hated rival. ôThe skies will rain fire, the lakes will boil, and the streets will run red with the blood of thousands.ö She took another step, her power whipping and snapping around her like an angry serpent ôOnly then, once youÆre last pitiful hope is extinguished, shall I end youÆre life.ö Now TrixieÆs eyes appeared to dance with a deadly light ôLetÆs go!ö

*******

Another possibility.

Celestia awoke to find herself bound to the floorá of a dark cavern, barely able to move her head. Which meant she was forced to stare into the hate filled eyes of her captor. There was little left of the darling boy named Spike. His injuries had led to his face being concealed behind a mystical device that held the pain at bay. A parting gift given to him by Luna, as the only survivor of a doomed city left the lands of Equestria. ôWhy didnÆt you justàö she croaked finding her throat parched, voice barely above a rasp. ôàKill me.ö she finished.

ôYouÆre punishment must be more sever.ö He began, voice deep and gravelly, as he moved, massive wings snapping closed along his flank as he took up an almost conversational stance. A lion chatting with its prey before the kill.

He laced strong, powerful claws together as he continued on. ôSee that light above you.ö He pointed a casual gesture ôThe way out....one you will never reach.ö His voice rasped behind the mask, powerful draconic voice made more menacing by the mask and the hate that sheÆd help take root in his heart. ôYou taught me much about true despair, when you allowed them to die in your name. Thinking they were selling their lives to buy you time to save Ponyville.ö He looked up at the light, considering it for a moment before turning his head so slightly, looking at her out the corner of his eye. ôBut you never came, not you, not the Wonderbolts or the royal guard. Luna was asleep during the day, and yet she managed to show up before YOU did.ö

Celestia tried to find the right words, to say something, but the weight of that dark day turned her tongue into lead. ôIà.canÆt be everywhere.ö She finally managed. ôIÆm not omnipotent.ö

ôThen you shouldÆve told them that before they died in vain.ö The Dragon closed his eyes, centering himself, his rasp still audible.

ôWellà.now I will share with you the lesson you helped to teach me. That mirror will show you Canterlot, will show you how I will torture the soul of your city. The city that failed to come to Ponyvilles aid in our most desperate hour. I will show the world CanterlotÆs true colors, I will show them just how impotent YOU areà.ö

Spike turned his hot gaze on her, something in his face telling her he was relishing what was to come, ôThenà.when I have finishedà.when Canterlot isà.ashesà..you have my permission to die.ö

I've never been a fan of the whole "You guys didn't help me so now I'm going to destroy you" mindset. Just because you don't give a beggar money doesn't mean you deserve to get stabbed for it. Rather, it's the stabber who deserves to be punished.

I figured the Hive Qeen was too obvious and Discord wouldn't go that route. Can't have fun if Ponies are dead afterall.

Considering I made him the villain in this storyline I think we're in agreement.

Rather random idea I just thought of: We all know the cliche "Twilight brings a human to Equestria due to a messed up spell", right? Well, I personally think that would only work in one place: her entrace exam to Celestia's school. After everything is calmed down, everypony wonders what to do with this strange being that appeared out of a hole in the air. Thoughts?

MLP:FIM/HGttG: Pinkie Pie learns that there's a party that has been going on for four generations non-stop. The rest of the Mane Cast has to get her to realize that there's a time to stop partying.

Straight MLP:FIM: Applejack invents the freeze-distilled apple brandy that she was named after.

IÆve been re-watching X-Men Evolution and I noticed how the Brotherhood each seem to be a different Delinquent/Troubled Street Kid Case and more to the point how it plays into their powers.

Toad/Todd Tolansky
He was the school outcast with no friends till joining the Brotherhood. At which point he gained confidence and became a smart mouth punk with a wicked tongue. He acts tough to look cool and impress his new bros. He is the groupÆs æflunkyÆ or to be accurate the ætoadyÆ. His powers are all about being The Toad after all.

Avalanche/Lance Alvers
Growing up in a foster home seems to have left him with authority issues, temper problems, and a general disregard for others. In short heÆs the classic bad boy, the rebellious teenager who shakes things up, and with his seismic powers he can do just that. LanceÆs motivation seems to be the desire to get control over his life. (It was never flat out stated, but with Lance being called a cartoon version of John Bender from the Breakfast Club I'm going to assume he grew up in an abusive foster home.)

Blob/Fred Dukes
HeÆs the Bully and the embodiment of everything that makes bullies so intimidating: HeÆs big, strong, invulnerable, and unmovable. He's a bully because he has had enough of people laughing at him and wants respect.

Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff
Believing his super speed makes him superior. He feels he needs no one and does whatever he wants regardless of the consequences. He is an arrogant, live life in the fast lane, over competitive speed demon that hates looking second to anyone. A lot of this attitude can be blamed on his strained relationship with his father.

Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff:
Being abandoned and isolated for years have left her an emotional wreck. Her unpredictable temper makes her probability manipulation powers even more dangerous. Also like a real Witch her powers let her curse anyone who crosses her with bad luck.

Pyro/John Allerdyce
The Pyromaniac: From what IÆve looked up pyromania is often the result of neglect and classified under Impulse Control Disorder: The neglected or abused child develops a habit (a bad one) to deal with the stress they are under. So the habit (in this case playing with fire) is a form of stress-relief, empowerment, and attention seeking. On the show Pyro really did seem to enjoy himself whenever he used his powers.

So anyways I got to thinking what other sort of ædelinquent powersÆ can be added to this group?

Pyro was a full fledged member as much as Gambit and Colossus were. In other words he doesn't belong. Pyro is the kid who doesn't take his meds that was forced in by the guy up top that nobody sees and only cares about numbers.

...Didn't you see the last episode? In Xavier's visions of the future Pyro had joined the Brotherhood though they were apparently "Freedom Force" by that point.

Also Colossus and Gambit joined the X-Men going by the group shot in the last scene. So assumingly Pyro joined the Brotherhood sometime post-series.

Today I had a short and simple (cliché) idea:
Let's take the Disney princesses (Snow White, Mulan, Aurora, Belle, Tiana, Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine and Pocahontas), have a Disney villain (the Horned King or Stromboli as examples) kidnap them and trap them in a sick, and twisted horror labyrinth that is inspired from the Saw franchise and therefore filled to the brim with torture and death. And then the girls have to try to get out of there alive.

The fic should change POV. One part should follow the princesses as they struggle and work together to survive in the hellhole and the other part should follow the princes and their attempts to find and save the princesses before it is too late, following vague riddles and clues left in a trail by someone else (the Chesire Cat for example).

Will the villain(s) win? Will the princes arrive in time? Or will the princesses prove that girls can be badass, survive the death-game and then find and kick the villain's ass?
