Nah. If Heivia have battle maids then Chrono have battle nuns under Carim's orders. Hayate can play the role of Princess slash Froleytia

I think Lindy (or Leti) fir Froleytia's position better.

It may be weird, but I imagine Nanoha being the pilot of the Rush/Gatling 033 (Beam-spam and stuff). Though instead of "Ohoho" Chrono and Yuuno would call her "Nyahaha" initially. Until she became a... haremette XD

What if Project Fate was truly a failure?

Alicia survived the blast due to being on the other side of a barricade, protecting her from the blast and the radiation. Precia on the otherhand, caught the brunt of the explosion. As she began to suffer from the "wasting disease" that was consuming her, her mind began to go. Signing onto another project, she started to believe that she was cloning a second child and that Alicia was dead. In truth, Alicia was alive, just in the hospital getting treated for what injuries she did have.

By the time she gets out, her mother starts acting strange. Now being called Fate of all things? And there is a girl in a tube that looks like her that Mom starts to call her name?

That will be one hell of tragedy, I guarantee it. Even better if there is no Nanofate in it.

This honestly would be too depressing, like seriously it would go dark really fast, but I do like the idea. Still, I think something like this would work better for a oneshot.

I had the thought that what if Precia made it to al hazard but it wasn't what she expected and for some reason fled with Alicia and landed at Nanoha's door. Precia's dying words being take care of her Fate. The story could be about what Precia ran from, not necessarily the government it could be something like show homeura kept going back in time and later every one learned of kyubus plan to stop entropy and dispared.

oh god what if Precia had her wish granted by kyube and precia was transformed back into a kid, or alicia had to fight witches.

Anybody here read Heavy Object? I have this idea of Yuuno and Chrono getting in all sort of stupid magic shenanigans while acting like Quenser and Heivia. Giant tentacle monsters, eldritch forest, man eating spaceship, etc...

Of course, Yuuno would gain a tons of admirer like Quenser while Chrono would be the one with a Yandere waiting for him - in this case Carim
I like this, so here is my take on it while keeping it just in the Nanoha franchise: working title - Heavy Ruina.

Lately there has been a rise in the rate of contraband of ancient artifacts all over the TSAB space, the problem is that it's not that someone is stealing them mid transit to a secure location (the TSAB for dangerous Lost Logias or some lab for the ones that can be researched), but rather they are being smuggled out of the ruins that are being excavated without the TSAB noticing. Normally the TSAB is generally supervising all archaeological digs in its jurisdiction, but being as shot staffed as it is, it can't be there all the time (and it might be possible some might have special permits that allow them to dig without supervision) which makes the smuggling problem a bit hard to really deal with. Still the TSAB can allow this to happen to a certain extent, since so far nothing too dangerous has been taken out and it has more severe problems to deal with.

On the other hand, the Belkan Church has been noticing several digs being done in areas where the TSAB has little presence or are outside the TSAB's jurisdiction (the Church would be there doing missionary work in a remote region). These clandestine digs are probably being sponsored by shady corporations that want to recover old tech for research since illegal is always faster. The Church fears that this might lead to a disaster and what's worries them is that the corporations only care about extracting the usable tech, and don't care about destroying the priceless ancient ruins that house this stuff.

The problem with these crimes is that it is not just a matter of catching them in the act of transporting the contraband or searching through files at the dig to find incongruities, they also need someone to research the ruin themselves, and check the sites to find evidence that something that was not reported existed, and even more they might have to dig themselves to make sure there are no dangerous artifacts to make sure the site is safe if something was taken. It takes a very special set of skills to do this, specially since whoever handles this crime will surely need good combat skills to handle enemy mages. So sadly, the TSAB doesn't have a lot people to spare with that rare skill set.

Here is where Carim enters, she recently got a high position in the Church and is acting as the representative in the Board of Directors in the TSAB, so she proposes that the two organizations work together to deal with this problem before it grows out of hand and something horrible happens. She proposes they form a special Lost Ruin task force to specifically deal with these crimes, staffed by people from both organizations. This group would have to not only investigate official digs that are suspected of contraband, but also bust clandestine sites, and even excavate digs that the two organizations might have something too dangerous that needs to be contained fast in many worlds- and for that reason it would need to be fairly more autonomous than the usual group (basically Proto-Riot Force 6)

First, she proposes contracting a civilian expect from outside as a contract mage to handle the more technical aspects of the digs, cue Yuuno. Then she proposes that they need an expert Enforcer to handle the investigations of the crimes and the apprehension of the criminals, cue Chrono (plus since he is young he will get along with Yuuno right?). Finally, since the TSAB is so understaffed, the Church will provide a ship and Church Knights if the TSAB provides the rest of the crew. Overall the plan is accepted after some adjustments, and so the Lost Ruins Investigation Taskforce is born. Carim not only hopes for this experimental group to deal with this growing problem, she also hopes that this will help the Church and the TSAB to start working more closely together in the future, and if it keeps Chrono close to her then it's a nice bonus.

And thus Chrono and Yuuno suddenly find themselves forced to work together as partners, in a ship filled with battle nuns that give Chrono the weird eye all the time and have to deal with all sorts of crazy super weapons that people find in ruins alongside the crazy mages and corporations that want these things. In other words, every day is a crazy day for our two heroes.

That's the basic idea, think the plot as half a police drama, and the other half Indiana Jones, with a good dose of aerial dog fights, beam spam, and befriending. Nanoha would join them similar to canon, right after our two heroes screw up and land on Earth and have to rely on her to seal the latest thing. Fate would be their rival, an enemy mage that constantly fights them to steal the latest Lost Logia.

Neat, it doesn't seem like Heavy Object overall but still maintain some of it elements, the characters role at the very least. Good job putting Nanoha characters into another series and then, making it into something new and different from the original.

Although I want to try something else, some stimulus to see what you guys reaction on this:

You guys gonna hate me for this, oh well...gonna do it anyway...

Yuuno: Hey, Lord "Ace of Ace", aren't you passionate about your mission or whatsoever? Feeling enthusiastic just because you got that Raising Heart, huh...Takamachi Nanoha?
Nanoha: Bastard...uggh.
Yuuno: Hih hih hih...Now, would you mind telling me? How many sacrifices did your so called " wishes to help people" cost? How many died? How many times did Fate Testarossa died because of you, CAPTAIN TAKAMACHI NANOHA!!!??
Nanoha: Yuu...YUUNO!!!
Yuuno: Hyah hahaha! GREAT, I love that bloodlust! Wanna try killing me now? Come on, hurry up, damnit! Kill me! The current me doesn't stand a chance against you, its a certain kill, you know!

Well the idea was to find a way to justify having Chrono and Yuuno having magical adventures as the main plot of the series without changing the Nanoha-verse in a big way. I wanted to keep to the spirit of HO and rearrange things to borrow the structure it uses for its adventures. The various dangerous magical artifacts Yuuno and Co end up having to deal with would take the place of the enemy Objects as the main antagonistic forces for an arc, which usually will have our new duo overpowered until they find some clever way to scrape a win with some luck.

Nope, in my idea verse, Yuuno never fell in love with Nanoha while Nanoha was not so unclear about it. Although, he still stick with Nanoha as he feel guilty for Nanoha involvement in Magic world and the guy also promised to take care Nanoha at least until she reach 20 or married someone. Unfortunately, Nanoha indulging herself in Magic world while seperating herself from her family ( she didn't abandon them completely, it just the amount of care she give them was too little), taking big decision (that she should discuss with her family first) without discussing with them first and her unclear stand around Yuuno as his best friend or lover are making problem to him as her fanatic fans keep hating him for some reasons.

Evn so, Yuuno still treat her as a friend as the best he could even when his mind is being influenced by the negative events happening around them, making him more and more hate Nanoha for she easily throw something that Yuuno would killed(not literally) for in addition to his childhood trauma ( my curent idea was making him forced to kill his mother, can you suggest me with others?).

Even so, he still try to keep their relationship circle in tact untill the time when he forced by the public to resign his post as Head Librarian. Coincidently he was thinking about resigning as he no longer has any reason to stay at IL or MidChilda and the IL itself can function properly with the subordinates and the new leader he put in charge of without getting himself involve anymore. Everybody ( his friend, casts of nanoha that close with him) was kind of okay wit this, as Fate to shocked with this revelation, Chrono accept Yuuno honest decision and support him in whatever he need to but not for Nanoha. Before Nanoha know about this, Yuuno was proposing to her ( as the guilt still lingering inside him, he felt responsible to take care of Nanoha) but Nanoha reject those proposal and Yuuno okay with this until....Nanoha try to stop him from leaving.

Yuuno felt weird with this because its not like they never gonna meet again forver. Then, one by one Nanoha appeals were rejected and this make Yuuno realize, (as it obvious to him ( based on his perspective)that she doesn't really love him ) that Nanoha actually keeping her "friends" to filled her feeling of loneliness ( refered to Nanoha in movie 1 version, feeling like a third wheel in her family) . Yuuno okay with selfish reason but this was just stupid. Not to mention making people around her, especially her family worried because of this moronic quest. As Yuuno's hatred and jealousy toward Nanoha skyrocketed, he decided to leave her for good ( at least if she didn't need of everything she need to from Yuuno as he still felt regret and responsible for her).

Further future events amplify his negative feelings not just about Nanoha but everything else. This version of yuuno was kind of broken minded, he still speak nicely but the opposite was happening in his heart, almost all of the time, he "acted" around the people except some of them like Fate, chrono, Amy....This problem cause his mind mind to become chaotic and he will act like what I post earlier when he wants to.

* You might already notice this but the first post was referring to BB CentralFiction Hakumen and Terumi conversation. As I said before, I just want to see your guys reaction and maybe I'll get some stimulus for more concrete idea than this.

I think it would be great to have a sophisicated Al`Hazardian machines in the place of Objects. They heavy armored and magic resistant forcing our heroes to rely on their wits  and daring/crazy strategies to defeat those mechanisms. Very Heavy Object-y... though I hope Yuuno wouldn't be as dense as Qwenthur and Thoma

Well the main idea is to have Yuuno and Chrono get involved in all sort of stupid magic shenanigans while acting like Quenser and Heivia. So they would be facing stuff like giant tentacle monsters, eldritch forest, man eating spaceship, and other stuff. The thing was wrote was mostly to find a way to justify why the TSAB would send Chrono and Yuuno on those adventures instead of sending someone else like Nanoha since these investigations would play to their skill strenghts, and from there stupid adventures would happen. I would have an Al Hazardian super machine that would work similarly to an Object that would force our duo to take it down HO style as the boss for a story, but not as the main plot or something too recurrent.

I think keeping their adventures varied by dealing with all sort of different artifacts, from the dangerous to the stupid would keep things fun, and the point of limiting the story to be mainly about investigating lost ruins is to help justify why just these two are the protagonists that get sent on missions most of the time.

Van Silverlight said:
Not sure if I am understanding you completely, but the main gist is that Nanoha develops a dependency on Yuuno after she distances herself from her family to join the TSAB and that evetually create some uncomfortable relationship problems between them, right?

Sounds like adventure and comedy genre to me.

Not really. Based on what I understand about Nanoha in Movie 1st, she felt like she the third wheel in the family, right? Using that as the base of Nanoha character, i want to make her as the type of making herself as needed to the people. Although, she herself subconsciously didn't noticed this at all. As her life as mage began to bloom, she feel satisfied and happy with people all around need her, that she has her own special place with them, no longer as the third wheel. When Yuuno decided to left Mid-Childa, Nanoha felt despressed because she want to be needed to Yuuno as she feel alone when unneeded. Moreover, the fact that Yuuno was responsible for giving this chance to her.

Yuuno basically hate Nanoha because of her ungratefulness toward her happy life as a normal person with happy family.

Note that this is just testing to see where it goes from here.

Why restrict to lost ruins? Pirate bases, ancient laboratories, a far away planet, etc..

See at first they would be send to investigate lost ruins. But then the brass notices just how effective and non-destructive they were so TSAB start sendin them to
more and more missions. Some of the top wanted to eliminate them too thus resultin in some dangerous missions. But Yuuno and Chrono always comes out on top, with tons of shenanigans alog he way

Well yeah that was the plan, the whole lost ruins angle was to justify why the TSAB was specifically sending Yuuno and Chrono together instead of sending someone else to do the job. Their ruin investigation missions would grow bigger and start involving weird stuff like pirates or ancient laboratories and then their unit would end up expanding until they become something similar to Riot Force 6 and have to take the worst job on the TSAB because they can get the job done somehow while having a lot of unfortunate shenanigans along the way.

Just a draft of the possible battle from my proposed Nanoha/Battletech cross

~***~

Nanoha couldn’t help but yelp when the pair of the buildings just a dozen meters away from her cockpit got pierced by a spear of light. Howling like a ravenous wolf, the current of air forced numerous clouds of dust to follow the marsh of the all-destructive blade of the god.

Auburn-haired pilot gulped seeing this macabre show – her enemy almost struck her machine from kilometers away and the destructive power or the attack was so tremendous that launched projectile punched through the multiple buildings. Even though the main cannon of her Hunchback was higher the effective range of fire couldn’t compare at all.

Massive behemoth of a tank, imposingly perched on the top of the massive hill near the Uminari city continued to snipe every mech his scanners could find.

Currently, her target was Nanoha herself and, surviving long enough under the merciless fire long enough to understands the attack pattern of the enemy, she immediately throw her bipedal metal knight into the series of the erratic maneuvers, desperately hoping that her tango was hectic enough to disturbed her opponent’s aim.

The sudden surge of heat and desperate shriek of the alarm claxons, together with the warning on the main monitor about the damage of the armor on the left side of the Hunchback was good evidence that her hopes were dashed.

“Nanoha, here!” Yuuno’s desperate cry burst from the dynamics, as his frantic image appears on the communication window, together with Nanoha’s own shriek, as the warning beeping increased, showing that assault tank of the unknown attackers launch a barrage of missiles.

Thankfully the numerous hours under tutelage of her instructors and her family were drilled into her muscles enough to force her to move her machine even when fear squeezed her guts.

Her recently acquired friend moved his Griffin closer to her damaged mech, moving are the top speed, while the rockets closed in. When Yuuno’s machine suddenly passed over her Hunchback, Nanoha blinked in confusion only to gasp in terror a moments later, when she realized what he intended to do. The horrified girl could only shriek “Yuuno-kun!!” when his slightly heavier robot stops in the way of the upcoming barrage.

In desperate attempt to help brave acolyte she switched the firing pattern of her main cannon into a shrapnel mode and then shoot into the upcoming wave of the missiles. Skies were set ablaze when the tow waves of destruction collides, but even with some loses the horde of missiles still had enough punching power to cripple Griffin or worse.

But then, to her shock, when the rocket struck only few of them hit their target (though they still made a 55 ton mech to stagger under the power of the explosion). The surrounding roads and building were not that lucky and now small mountains of rubble took the place of the homes for many people. Nanoha desperately prayed that they were evacuated in time and now were in safe place.

“Yuuno-kun, are you alright?!” Cried purple eyed pilot, moving closer, while watching fearfully at the window where the massive unknown tank continued to rain fire on the city defenders. After sending the barrage behemoth lose the interest in them, concentrating his efforts at suppressing the forces of the 101th defensive regiment.

The firepower of the monstrous vehicle were utterly insane and Nanoha silently thanked Amaterasu that Yuuno’s machine were equipped with this advanced ECM unit (now she remembered her talk with her blond friends and understood why he dared to tank such powerful attack – guided missiles had a hard time hitting mechs like his from the long range).

“Yeah, the armor withstood the attack, thank you for your concern, Nanoha.” Yuuno’s reply was a bit strained due to his slight headache caused by the impact, but still he was happy that he helped his dear friend. “Sorry, but we need to hurry up and help the others!”

Daughter of the Takamachi family nodded grimly – she would tend Yuunio-kun’s wounds after the battle - but the current situation was just to dire to waste any more seconds.

The unknown machine still couldn’t harass the positions of the city’s artillery due to Arisa and Suzuka combined efforts, but there were no guarantees that they wouldn’t fall under the deadly gaze of the enemy assault tank. Not to say Arisa and Suzuka still were green (just like me, admitted Nanoha glumly) and their enemy obviously had a rich experience.

But ther biggest problem was the technical advantage of the enemy machines. No matter how she looked at them – those riders were equipped with superior weaponry, had the better armor and rage of fire. She and her friends holds up only because they had the ComGuard vehicles (which was another reminder of the ComStar advantage over entire Inner Sphere).

The thunderous roar dragged her and Yuuno’s attention and they both gasped as they saw Arisa’s Phoenix Hawk jumping across the Kohakugawa district, trying to move away from the enemy’s machine (the black and yellow Hunchback variant with TWO AC/20 cannons), as the close quarter duel would be a suicide, while Suzuka desperately tried to hold back the advance of the another enemy machine with the missile salvo on her own.

Guys, how to tell a nanofate hardcore shipper ( he/she said its official) that nanofate is official? this person give the reasons that are: the two girls sleep together in a bed in Strikers ep3, plus the interviews on the two VAs about nanoha and fate.

Not really the thread for this.  That said,

A) People share beds all the same time without it being romantic or sexual in nature.

B) Their VAs aren't Tsuzuki, who has final say, and who has not said anything on the matter.

C) He's a NanoFate fan, and is not going to listen to any reasoning on your behalf.

I'm posting here becuz I don't know which thread appropiate for this stuff. Anyway, this guy reply again:

True but people don't LIVE together and share a bed. I don't know how it goes on in your area but most of the world you don't share your bed with a house mate or even a room mate. And being commanders in a military base means that they could have had separate rooms if not separate beds.

And while it is true that the va's aren't Tsuzuki however in most cases they are given instructions on how to play characters and voice their emotions, something similar to what Allen Rickman was told by J. K. Rowling about the reason behind Snape's bitterness.

Here's my response to you. Why does it even matter? If it's canon, there's nothing stopping someone from drawing Nanoha dating Yuuno, or fanfic writers writing Fate with Chrono. It's never going to be confirmed one way or the other, since either way could damage the viewer ship, and it's completely irrelevant to the fandom regardless.

Yeah, right? I just hearing this guy out because hearing fanatic fans ranting about their "canon' really, really fun anyway. At least, it remove my boredom for a moment.

You can tell the person that whether or not Nanoha and Fate's relationship is canon is irrelevant since there's nothing stopping fanfic writers and doujin artists to ship them together.

I'd tell him myself, but I don't know where the comment came from.
