Better place to get charms at max level is heroic throne of the tides on the respawning mobs or, if there's no competition, at the quest mob skigget.

I was hitting 1100 charms/10m on a demo lock on skigget.

Holy shit! And here I thought Molten Front was at least decent. I think I was averaging 80 charms/10 minutes.

Edit: Skiggit was apparently Hotfixed as of 10:20PM EST. No longer dropping Lovely Charms. :(

Throne of tides is pretty baller as well, about 27 a minute, nowhere near as good as skigget though.

Got my ugly pink chicken, so I don't have to farm anymore crap (for this holiday event at least)!

Just two more holiday events to clear: Children's Week and the Midsummer.

I missed both last year: Children's Week because of RL and Midsummer because I hate half of the daily crap for that. This year, I've got a friend who's willing to help me stick to Midsummer and clear it this time.

Gratz on your ugly pink chicken :D

-------------

So our other tank refuses to go ret, so I'm the tank with the dps offset. In any case, the other tank missed, so I finally got to tank hSpirit Kings today instead of DPSing.

It is boring as FUCK to tank. Jesus. There's literally nothing you do but 'Don't stand in bad things." and "Don't run the raid into the flank."

Hopefully tanking wind walker tommorow will be interesting to make up for that disappointment.

Mmm, vengeance.

5.2 is tomorrow, for anyone interested.

Also got a belt, trinket and a Raid Finder currency today compared to my previous total of 0, seems like pre-patch days are good days to raid.

Okay, some heads up for those returning or not really paying attention:

You can now buy "packs" of seeds, which have charges and can seed up to four tilled soils in one go. Their cost seems high, but it's what it would cost if you were to by 40 seeds.

The Master Plow now reduces the health of virmen hiding in the Occupied Soils. The virmen will leave the soil at 30% health.

You can now own the farm by doing a short quest. You have to have all of the 16 possible plots open (which means getting to Exalted with the Tillers and doing all of Vote quests), but you can then talk to Nana Mudclaw, who wants you to talk to Yoon about taking over the Tillers Union. He'll agree, and once you turn it in, you'll unlock one of the new options for rep grinding in Pandaria: Work orders!

(if you want to continue doing the dailies that Yoon offered, he relocated to the Marketplace)

There will then be a book inside Yoon's place that allows you to set it as your hearth!

The Klaxxi, Shado-pan, August Celestials, Golden Lotus and Operation Shieldwall/Dominance Offensive all have possible work orders via the farm that you can turn in for 400 bonus rep.

It should be noted, however, that

1) The quest comes in two parts: Part I is the planting and Part II is turning in the harvest.
2) you'll need 40 of a requested plant, which means that unless Jogu says it's going to high turnout, you'll need about 8 slots devoted to that plant. The turn in is the wagon in the sourthwestern corner of your farm. Once you complete it, you can do Part I.
3) You have to have unlocked that faction's dailies. This means that for Shado-Pan and August Celestials, you'll have to have gotten Golen Lotus up to Revered.

You'll get double rep if you've gotten the commendations.

Now, if you're Level 90 and go to your Pandaria hub (i.e. Shrine of the Two Moons or Shrine of the Seven Stars), you'll get a quest for the new raid area. If you don't get it automatically, try leaving the Shrine and/or Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and returning.

Edit: One more thing of note: you can now get fish in Pandaria, regardless of fishing level. Not sure if you need to do the quest No Fishing Pole Necessary beforehand, but I was able to catch Golden Carp, Redbelly Mandarin and Giant Mantis Shrimp with a fishing skill of 94, and got 0 garbage after 20 casts.

You could catch the latter two out of any schools of fish, but now, you don't have to worry about fishing up trash.... in Pandaria.

Given that two of the Order of the Cloud Serpent dailies require fish, and a lot of the cooking recipes require fish, this will help out those who didn't start until, or just started out, cooking in Pandaria.

BTW, for those into fishing, Ben of the Booming Voice (the quest giver) will also let you know about good spots to fish.
