Naruto Music to inspire the Savage Beast.

Heya! I'm kinda curious if any of you use music to set the mood, or pick a particular song to set the tone/general plot of a peice of fiction?

I'm trying to do that, or have been for awhile, it's been my side project. Oh sure, I use such songs as 'Let the Bodies hit the Floor', ect ect when I want to write fight sequences. An example of that would be here, but be warned, I wrote it ages ago and it really isn't all that great, but the only peice I can remember writing using music to set the mood.

Anime Addventure - Smoke and Wind

Anyway, I'm trying to write a story entirely based around the general flow of this song. I have a few ideas, it's actually what sparked my Naru/Kurenai idea from ages ago. The whole 'Does it make you happy to hate me?" "Yes" thing.

Here's the song I use for that. It's a Naruto AMV, one of the better ones I've seen especially once you get to about half way. Anyway, listen to the song and let me know if any type of ideas/thoughts spring up into your head from it.

The Journey to Red

This was something I worked on for awhile, god, I really should finish it. Deals with a Ranma going to another Dimension due to a spell Genma and Soun tried. I eventually had it planned where he would return to his own dimension, and begin the second stage of it where he desperately sought a way to return to the previous dimension, where he would marry Julia instead of Theo, who got a hot peice of Were-panther ass.

I'm pretty sure that was the story where I decided that you were a God. The only other authors that even compare on the addventure came after that: Cypher3au and Redneck Gaijin.

i agree with you. You really should continue The Journey to Red. It was(and still is) one of my favorite threads on the addventure.

I always thought that Ranma would be better for her than Theo. Mumsy would certainly like him better.

I haven't really tried writing anything to go with music, but I do think of many possible AMV's for songs. Most of which would require stuff that doesn't exist to my knowledge, which would be similar enough I suppose. A lot of the songs on Papa Roach's Getting Away with Murder would work nicely. Blood fits Sasuke being the betraying bastard he is. Not Listening fits Naruto fighting against Neji. Do or Die would be a theoretical one, it would involve Hinata coping with Naruto failing and falling apart.

It's a thought. I remember something of the next epsiode, where Julia had Ranma straddled and was slapping him around like a bitch to wake him up.
