................ <_< :( :( share your car stories here yall, be they funny or sad.

right noww my car story is on wednesday i'm heading to my new base (woo hoo i'm going to the 82nd airborne) but anyway i have found out recently that my little sister is trying her hardest to total my 2004 chevy impala before i can get home on wednesday as i need it to drive to fort bragg in north carolina from florida with all my stuff...........

however theres a big problem besides her trying to wreck imy car shes also hidden the keys from my family and as i knew all her hiding places for shit i had my family check those with no luck as she changed her hiding places about a week ago as soon as she managed to get ahold of my keys.

so whats your stories????

EDIT: oh yeah i forgot to mention my car only has 30,000 miles on it.

Wait. Is there a reason your sister is doing this?

She's probably the devil's sister who enjoys messing with her brother.

.... just to give an example.....

yall should know how akina and his sister are..... right?????

now think 8 times as worse at the least and that's how it is between me and my younger sister.

basically she likes to do this shit to me while i'm away doing my military job simply cause she can and also compounded by the fact that she has a massive bipolar disorder...... and not to mention the fact of me being the midget of the family at 6'3" and basically it's one of the many so-called "wrongs" i have done to her.

I'm not entirely sure how you can get eight times worse when the starting point involves your sister wanting to anally rape you with a strap-on.

Unless your sister is a tentacle monster or something.

Hey!

And the title of this thread is so nice too..

I'll share one story. Both the engine and transmission oilpan and front bumper got ripped off once. Sheared the bolts. So it was down for a week while I hunted junkyards for new pans and some bolts..

Stupid plastic bumps in the road...

Also.. While i'm not much of a fan of the newer Impalas. I still dont' see why she would want to wreck it..

....... sheriffs department is my family. and it was my mistake for leaving the weapon out while i went to take a piss while i was cleaning it. plus you can't do much with a pistol that's had it's firing pin removed.

EDIT: akina the reason she is trying to wreck the car is simply cause i own the car, and you know i am really not gonna let up on the fact that you broke a very nice car right????

She didn't know it was missing the pin. You're in the military. You know rule number one. The rule that will get you screamed at and scrubbing showers for days if you break it, regardless of what division you're in, or what uniform you wear.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever aim any weapon at something you do not wish to destroy.

It doesn't matter if the safety is on. It doesn't matter if it's not loaded. It doesn't matter if you already tested it by putting it to your temple and pulling the trigger. DON'T FUCKING DO IT.

The fact that the sheriff's department is in your family makes it even worse. She should KNOW better than that.

You say it was your fault for leaving it out. And you do share some of the blame for doing so. But you weren't the one who picked up a gun and held it to your sibling's face. That was all her. It's maybe 5% your fault, 95% hers, because that is NOT something you kid around with. Ever. It doesn't matter if it couldn't have done anything. It doesn't even matter if she knew it wouldn't fire, and I doubt she knew it wouldn't. Even if she knew there was no way, she should not have pointed at your face PERIOD.

She had no business even holding it, for that matter. Guns are not fucking toys.

[EDIT]

Having thought about this, I realized I've been assuming your sister was old enough to actually know guns aren't things to play around with. If she was a toddler at the time, it would be understandable.

So quick question, if you don't mind. How old was she when this happened?

i know that LR and plus she learned not to point a gun at my face after i snatched it out of her grasp and field stripped it in 15 seconds.

...I would NEVER let any of my siblings do that. Still she has to be MAD to try that on you.

Yes I know what I did... Ok. I know. She was gone for a month. And I was in her apartment. Alone. With the car. She should have expected it.

I do not own a car, and unfortunately have no funny storys by-proxy that I could share.

However, I do want to point one thing out.

@Rukia, you overuse the Period symbol, try not to do that with a thread title.

well LR when i had left the pistol out on my desk while i made sure to put the firing pin in my pocket, in the room i use when i am at home while i was off taking a piss for a minute and walked back into my room where i found pointing it at my face by her while she was ranting and raving about some shit how i had done something wrong by being out at the gun range maintaning my self imposed qualifications instead of being at the house driving her around to her friend's houses.

but anyway i've got a second vechile story.

one of my trucks exploded when i was driving it during the summer... long story i'll explain it later.

I haven't owned a car in more than three years.

It's fortunate that the D.C. area has such extensive public transportation; it means that I don't need a car. And I have no intention of getting one for at least a couple more years; it's simply not cost-effective.

Rukia, no offense but your sister sounds exactly like my younger sister. Fortunately for me she lives in New york and I only see her during summer.

LR this happened about a year ago when she was 15

EDIT: somehow akina i have the very bad feeling that they would get along fine. and plus like i said earlier my sister is bipolar which makes it hard even for me to be around her and i was told while stationed in japan that i had the patience of a monk.

Keeping on topic.

My car was bought used and apparently it has some history that I'm not sure I want to know about because there is, what appears to be, a bullet hole in my front bumper below the right headlight.

Its the right size, shape and has paint scoring consistant with a bullet impact. I'm sure the real reason that hole is there isn't as cool as being shot at so I have convinced myself that it's an actual bullet hole.

Makes me wonder who the previous owner was...

She does, but she lives too far away for me to do it.

Also... any of you ever get air bubbles in your brake lines?
