How much different would Naruto's personality be if someone just adopted Naruto as their son? (Rather they didn't know about the kyubi or didn't care varies between candidates)
Mainly because most of Naruto's traits and personality comes from living most of his life with everyone hating him. He didn't even know why until the first episode/first chapter and this led him to becoming a village prankster to get attention and be acknowledged even in a negative context.
Hell, I could even see traits of Stockholm Syndrome within his interactions with Sasuke and Sakura...
So how different would Naruto be with a constant and supportive parental guide? Would he still be just as determined to be hokage? How would this change his interactions with characters like Zabuza, Gaara or Kakashi? Would he be any better as a beginner genin or would he still be dead-last? (Ironically, he was the only genin in that class to have learned and mastered an A-rank technique (Kage no bunshin))
