I'm looking for an old fanfic where Naruto was somehow transported to Sunagakure. There he was found by girl-Gaara who found him fascinating. She was stalking him and promising that she would kill him last or something. Also I remember that Naruto was admitted to their academy where everyone were awed by his large chakra reserves.
Found it. But it wasn't updated since 2010.

Anyone got any time travel (peggy sue I guess) fics made after or close to the end of the series? I'm kind of amusing myself with the idea of god mode Naruto ending up in his younger body for whatever reason. Sasuke following is optional. I've already read Written in Reverse today, so no need to rec that one.

I'm looking for a fic where naruto leaves the village or is banished. then years later a couple of kunochi's go to this underworld village place where naruto(in orioke) is an oyabun running a brothel and is basically the strongest faction in the area. I can't seem to remember the title or find where it is. Can anyone help me out?
Recently have a craving for fics that have Naruto OP. Whether his ninjutsu gets fully fleshed out, he's just a natural prodigy that works hard, his chakra is 'special', doesn't matter. As long as compared to your average fighter, he's leagues ahead. BUT two caveats: there must be some way of building fight tension, either through Really Big bad guys, or something that disallows full expression of Narutos's power, etc. And, Naruto must retain at least some semblance of his PTS personality i.e. mischievous troublemaker, unflinchingly honest and moral, energetic, and assertive about his goals. Just can't stand cardboard cutout/author stand-in/super emo and agnsty Naruto. Final bonus points for decent romance subplots, because Im a sucker for that as well.
Two somewhat-known fics that I feel represent what I'm looking for would be Indomitable by ShaperV as well as Drifting by AlphaDelta1001. Kenchi618 writes a lot of fics that fit thematically as well, but I personally think his writing is boring. Ah well.
And while we're here, I know ShaperV said he might look into updating his Naruto ff after focusing on his original work for a bit (fingers crossed), but has anyone heard anything about alphadelta? In his authors notes for drifting (just read it but currently one of my favorite works of this fandom, we'll see how I feel if I reread it) he claimed that the story outline was totally complete and chapter updates were just putting prose into it, so it's weird that he just dropped off the face of the earth mid-2015. Really hoping that means life caught up, not that he done abandoned the fandom.
Last thing: anywhere else you guys go to find decent Naruto fics? This site gets slower every day, and trying to find good stuff directly from ff.net is extremely tedious.

I'm too new to have read any of those stories, but I would love to have a chance. Some might have been deleted during Great FFnet Purge few years ago, many were lost relatively recently, when YGallery got hacked (when I first heard of this site, it was already down). I tried reaching some authors to find their works, but many, like Kaikouken or animehead, don't have their copies anymore, therefore they couldn't help. If you read this ship for many years, you probably recognize few titles. I would appreciate even information about lenght of fics, since when I get incomplete file I have no idea, whether I should look for more chapters or if it's all that was ever written (I pointed out those I partly have).
