Akamatsuverse [Negima] For want of a title...

Because I really could not think of a title for this little idea.

The idea hit me (and the proceeded to call me a perv) after reading a Love Hina fic.

What if Negi had a very powerful demon sealed in him. Powerful as in Morunbalde or Blue (who is arguably not a demon, but probably rules a small hell, which counts for most people). The thing is that the demon is not completely sealed, so it can communicate with Negi.

It also is able to negociate with the kid, granting him some of its power in return for some freedom.

I honestly have no idea what would happen, as the idea stops there for me.

One step up: What if Negi was the reincarnation of a SaGa villain?

Either Hell's Lord himself, or my fave, MBlackIII, who arguably had a soul (Remember Leonard!).

Bah...

Sounds too much like Naruto for me...

I'm ok with reincarnation as long as it's Negi and not someone else that just has the name.

Ditto here, a demon sealed within you that can speak to you and occasionally grant power, reeks of the Naruto section.

That either makes me think Ranma or King of Fighters.

With Ranma, eh maybe some supposed one time thing. Can't really think of any possible good ideas at the moment.

With King of Fighters...oh thinking about Negi with Orochi Tainted Blood instead of having Orochi sealed in his body. Gotten an idea of Negi being a bastard child of Goenitz who raped Nagi's wife. Not likely to happen if I recall about Goenitz but could have him thinking of expanding the ranks of those with Orochi blood in terms of berserkers/cannon fodder.

Why Goenitz and not any other Orochi follower? Well other than Vice and Mature, who are women BTW (and can't really pregant another woman unless they grew dicks or something), the rest of the Orochi followers are men and women around the ages of their twenties or so. Considering that Negi's about ten years old around the year 2002, Goenitz is about the only one of (at least proper) age to screw a woman. (I don't know the ages of Yamazaki or Yashiro but I suppose they would be willing to rape a woman if it's for Orochi's revival)

Secondly, Goenitz was/is called "The Heavenly King of Wind" which fits in with Negi who's a Wind/Thunder mage as I recall. (Which gives off the idea that Negi's possible mother can be Shermie (Heavenly Queen of Lightning), who married Nagi, or that Shermie and Goenitz screwed each other, her getting pregnant and both leaving the baby for some reason for Nagi to find and adopt)

With Orochi blood in Negi's veins, it could give a possible reason of why Negi's so strong even if he's just a Mage in training and why his preferred spells are of the Wind and Thunder/Lightning elements.

Considering in Negima where Negi knows how to fight in hand to hand combat and came second place in a (somewhat) major tournament where it had Chi/Ki blasts, magic, super powered foes and other things I don't feel like mentioning, I'd bet that KoF will give Negi an invitation to join despite how young he is. If Negi refuses to join up, someone in KoF could appear or somebody else to inform him with maybe information about his father for one. His possible teammates for the tournament? Either Setsuna, Kaede or Ku Fei. Maybe Chachamaru and Asuna as well, but Chachamaru is usually near Evangeline to serve her in any way possible (which could rule her out as Principal Konoe could likely die from making sure that Evangeline goes outside of the barrier that limits her) and Asuna more or less is still a beginner as I recall.

Blah, too much time on my hands to think this crap up. Time to eat.

Leona's dad, Gaibel, was supposedly around Goenitz's same age. Just a thought...

Now you have me imagining Negi in the Riot of Blood. So very funny and yet so very wrong.

And the idea of Negi as a reincarneated villlian of SaGa Frontier has me thinking of Negi regaining his awesome powers from when he was Orlogue, Charm Lord.

It... does make sense. How many wives did Orlouge have? 300?

It'd explain why he's so attractive to women... and the Mahora girls could contitute his new harem for when he 'recovers' Facinaturu.

*Points out that Negi look's too much like his father*>>>never said anything about the mother.

Kekeke. Questions is: Will the Mahora academy girls be enough?

KoF, obviously. Now, I don't know all that much about the KoF storylines (the only SNK game I've played aside from the Capcom vs. SNK games was Fatal Fury), and what little I know of the Orochi thing is from that other topic we had here about Orochi Keitaro, so if my question is stupid ignore it... what about Nagi being an Orochi descendant, and Negi inheriting it from him? It'd explain a few things about the Thousand Master, like how a magic school dropout could gather such an infamous reputation.

Never thought of that angle. My mind was mostly plotting on Nagi using a magic book to change Negi's appearance with my current thoughts...or at least by accident when he's trying to use a spell to find Negi's real parent/rapist that also alters his mind to think that Nagi's his father.

Intresting thought. Nagi could have likely focused on his Orochi powers after dropping out or only dropped out because he wanted to cast a ruse that his powers are actually magic spells...which in a way they are I suppose.

Leona's dad, Gaibel, was supposedly around Goenitz's same age. Just a thought...
I suppose that's a good idea there. If anybody knows what the guy looks like, then I suppose that either someone could make him a half brother of Nagi or something. If nobody knows, then Twins or just have him almost looking like Nagi. (and have Nagi panic because he's still a virgin and yet there's a mini him running around)

*Points out that Negi look's too much like his father*>>>never said anything about the mother.
Well unless we have Demitri Maximoff changing Goenitz into a permanent girl, then Vice, Mature or Shermie would fit the bill. I prefer Shermie mainly because of her powers being lightning and all that.

Orochi powers are actual magic. Orochi has his power coming from the Earth... which supposedly is the source of magic. Goenitz and the other Heavenly Kings simply can tap into it without refining it through spell incantations (the whole Raster Maskil Magister thing).

Heh.

This equalls overkill you know?

It would also explain why the thousand master was undefeated. :p

In either case (Orochi Negi and Orlogue Negi), would the resident bloodsucker be the first to figure out that Negi is not normal?

Although in the case of Orlogue Negi, the blue blood, regeneration, and sudden weapons might be a big clue to everyone.

There's no way in Hell Negi could hide being a Mystic for very long. The Mystic nature is way too powerful to be denied for any length of time... Asellus was a special case.

Besides, the whole 'girls hovering around him like vultures' should make a number of the sharper minds suspicious. As the Charm Lord, Orlouge did have a striong ascendant on females, and his blood was enough to make even Asellus in what's obviously a blatant lesbian...

And... minus 2 to 2000!!

I wonder if his "charm" will affect anything that's female or just the ones that are actually women...

Heh this is going to be interesting in any case.

Now that you've all discussed the idea this in-depth, you're all now required to write it.

Besides, y'all never did write that LH/The Shield crossover I suggested a while back.

Sorry, but I can't write shit as a writer without blowing up my mind for one...and maybe getting drunk as well while I'm at it. I can make up ideas on the spot if it intrest me, but unable to actually try to use the damn thing myself for something else.

What LH/The Shield crossover? I must have missed that topic.

It was quite a ways back, I'm not surprised you missed it, I would say it predates you but you predate DKG so that's probably not the truth.

I bug at least 6 other forums than this one so it's likely I missed it in any case.

Note: Using a PSP to type this post is...odd.
